 In the year 2159, two classes of people exist: the very wealthy, who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth.  The people of Earth are desperate to escape the planet’s crime and poverty, and they critically need the state-of-the-art medical care available on Elysium – but some in Elysium will stop at nothing to enforce anti-immigration laws and preserve their citizens’ luxurious lifestyle.  The only man with the chance to bring equality to these worlds is Max (Matt Damon), an ordinary guy in desperate need to get to Elysium.  With his life hanging in the balance, he reluctantly takes on a dangerous mission – one that pits him against Elysium’s Secretary Delacourt (Jodie Foster) and her hard-line forces – but if he succeeds, he could save not only his own life, but millions of people on Earth as well.

Bajatey Raho Synopsis - When all hell has broken loose and it’s only the crooks left to rule the roost, it is time for the good to start its fight over evil. But is that enough?? In India’s first ever revenge comedy; you shall witness the fight of CON v/s EVIL to retain one’s honour, integrity and prestige.  Sabbarwahl (Ravi Kishan) is on a roll committing a series of frauds, all in the garb of a successful business entrepreneur. But little does he know that one of his misdoings has created a huge impact on the lives of 4 poor sods: Mrs. Baweja (Dolly Ahluwalia), Sukhi (Tusshar Kapoor), Mintoo Hasan (Vinay Pathak) and Ballu (Ranvir Shorey) which has only resulted into an enormous wave of need for vengeance.

The death of Mr. Baweja due to a cardiac arrest after being framed in a bank fraud and Saira his assistant being put behind bars, Mrs. Baweja takes the situation in her hands. The poor sods decide to no longer remain victims to the situation by living on scrawny jobs and meagre monies but instead BAJAO Sabbarwahl’s band in the best way possible.  It’s the good hearted underdog who has to become a ‘little BAD’ to fight the ‘very BAD’. 

‘To dethrone the king is no mean task.’But a lot needs to happen before that: Sukhi finds love in Manpreet (Vishakha Singh) who has to get Sabbarwahl to twirl to her tunes; Mintoo’s ‘Modern Catering’ has to offer more than just ‘Quantity and Quality’ and Ballu’s cunning ways need to go through the litmus test.

A series of cons, enthralling, amusing and needless to say entertaining to the core. Coz at the end of it all Happy Ending it is… but all you will want to say is ‘Bajatey Raho’!!!

MADONNA AND DAUGHTER, LOLA, ANNOUNCE RITA ORA

Madonna and her daughter, Lola confirmed today that Rita Ora has been cast as the new global face of their junior lifestyle brand, Material Girl. Ora, an internationally renowned singer and protégé of Jay-Z, will star in the brand’s global marketing campaign.  The Fall 2013 advertising campaign will be unveiled in July. 

Madonna and Lola, commented, “Rita is a talented beauty but what really drew us to her is the confidence she oozes through her music and her unique sense of style. On stage or off, in photos or on the street - she's a magnet! This is what the Material Girl brand is all about!” 

Contrary to previous reports, Madonna and Rita met for the first time on Saturday, June 1^st at the “Sound For Change” concert at London’s Twickenham Stadium.

BALAJI MOTION PICTURES’O​NCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI DOBARA SCHEDULED FOR 15TH AUGUST, 2013

Balaji Motion Pictures’ romantic drama Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara will release on Thursday, 15^th August, 2013 (Independence Day).  

Shah Rukh Khan spoke to Mr. Jeetendra and a meeting was held between Mr. Jeetendra, UTV and Shah Rukh Khan to resolve the situation of both the movies releasing together, and find a win-win situation for all.  

“Keeping in mind that both weekends (8^th Aug and 15^th Aug) are good times for film releases, Jeetendra sir being the senior most showed the path. He took the decision to move OUATIM Dobara to 15^th August. This is extremely graceful of him. UTV, Rohit and I are very happy with the decision made and we thank Jeetu sir and Balaji for the same. This should pave the way for such mature and sensible amicable understandings whenever two films release on the same day in future too,” says Shah Rukh Khan.   

“My father and Shah Rukh spoke and have clearly worked out what is best for both the films. Both are big and keenly awaited and should not be made to eat into each other’s business. I have huge respect for SRK and wish him the best,” says Ekta Kapoor.
