Post completion of its shoot, Maruti International’s ‘Grand Masti’ has cleared the Indian Censor Board and is all set for an End August-Early September release!!!

Acting is no ‘Cake’ Walk!!

 

For everyone who skips a beat in romantic movies, Joe Rajan is going to treat us all, this monsoon with his romantic flick ‘Luv U Soniyo’. The newbies Tanuj Virwani and Miss India (2010) Neha Hinge will be seen in this upcoming romantic flick, which is based in Mumbai & Goa!

It so happened that one day the team was shooting a birthday sequence in the interiors of Goa, it was a 3 day long scene which required an exquisite cake, lots of balloons and a nice celebration mode. As it was the interiors a new cake could not be carried to the sets each day as it was customized one and too much time would be wasted in travelling to and fro.

Director Joe suggested to use the same cake and informed Neha that she would just have to pretend to eat it and her side profile would be captured!

It was the third day of the shooting and while all the other shots were canned the cake being cut was supposed to be shot and the white cake had already fermented, but still Neha being a sport took a small bite and shot for her scene, but Tanuj who is quite mischievous & loves to play pranks with his leading lady filled her mouth with a big piece of the fermented cake,and all this while the camera was rolling informs a source close to the team

When quizzed Neha about it she gushed and said, “Tanuj is such a brat he put the entire piece of cake in my mouth and it was so sour, I could not even do anything because the camera was rolling and it was the last shot as the cake had already been cut! so had to gulp it down, and ended up with a bad stomach the next day"

Well, kudos to Neha for being such a sport!!

Jagdish Gupta produced Satirical Comedy film MUAVZA, that starts Annu Kapoor in central character, had its moments of scare. While shooting at Bhatta Pasaul village in UP, some gujjars, took exception to the story, and decided to take matters in their own hands. Explains the writer director Girish Juneja, “it’s story is about nova rich villagers who are getting high compensation from government for acquisition of their land around Delhi and NCR. We were shooting there with Annu Kapoor, Akhilendra Mishra, Pankaj Beri and Kamlesh Gill ji. Gujjars are a very proud and head-strong community. Somehow they felt that we were only doing mockery of their customs and behavior in our film. So few people from other village came to our location and put a gun on the temple of one of our team members. We had to stop the shoot for almost a day to sort out the matter but It was a very scary moment for us, because they really don’t think twice before pulling the trigger. Luckily they were from other village, so people from our village came for our rescue.”

A rib tickling, super sarcastic, unique story of razor sharp wit, ‘MUAVZA’ is focusing on the lives of Nuevo Rich of Delhi & NCR. How expansion of Delhi and NCR into neighboring villages has turned worthless lands also of few villagers into millions. Their absolutely hilarious way of spending money gives an insight into their characters.

We all know that Saif Ali Khan and Sonakshi Sinha are shooting for Tigmanshu Dhulia’s most anticipated Action Drama ‘Bullett Raja’ in Lucknow!! 

What we hear from the sets is that the few locals were so happy to have the team shooting in their locality that one day they went out of their way and brought home cooked food for the entire crew.

A source close to the team said, “We have been shooting in Lucknow since quite a long time now and we were all feeling very homesick. It was that one day a group of ladies came to Saif and offered him some homemade mutton Biryani. Saif loved it so much that he couldn’t stop praising the Biryani. And the next day we saw huge dabba’s filled with home cooked Biryani not only for Saif but for the entire team.”

‘It was really very sweet of those ladies that they treated us with such amazing and yummy food. It was almost feasts of sorts for us that day. We couldn’t thank them enough for the lovely food” added the source.Well, with such hospitable localites around, we are sure that the Nawab and the crew did not miss their homes that much!
