I actually saw one Audi filled with animal fodder at Bhatta Pasaul village.  But then they are also open hearted once they accept you as friend. The head of this village loaned us his own house to shoot in, their own Scorpios, white shoes etc for the shoot. They would even cook home food everyday for me and Annu Kapoor,” smiles the director Girish Juneja.  “In fact the Sarpanch shown in the film is actually the head of the village himself,” adds the producer Jagdish Gupta.

MARYAM AND SCARLETT’S DANCE CATCHES TUSSHAR, RANVIR & VINAY’S ATTENTION!

 

It was a known fact on the sets of director Shashant A Shah’s next film Bajatey Raho that punctuality is very important for him. But it was hard to get Tusshar, Vinay Pathak and Ranvir Shorey to wake up on winter mornings in Delhi and head off to shoot leaving their cosy warm beds. So on the day when Shashant was to shoot with actresses Maryam Zakaria and Scarlett Wilson, the director was taken aback to see the three boys in their full avatar on the sets.  

“I was completely shocked to see them, in their shooting avatar all ready to shoot in time on a day they didn’t have to shoot because I was shooting a song that day,” says Shashant laughing. But later Shashant realised that the boy gang was there on a non-shooting day because of the two beautiful damsels Maryam and Scarlett.  

Tusshar, Vinay and Ranvir spent the whole day and night in their get-ups without shooting, just to watch the two actresses dance. “I actually thought that the next time I want to call the guys on time, I will tell them that Maryam and Scarlett are coming to shoot the song again,” quips Shashant. 

Bajatey Raho takes us through a journey where all hell has broken loose and it’s only the crooks left to rule the roost. Now the only way left to fight Evil is con against a con. When Sabbarwahl (Ravi Kishan) is on a roll committing a series of frauds, all in the garb of a successful business entrepreneur, little does he know that one of his misdoings has created a huge impact on the lives of 4 poor sods: Mrs. Baweja (Dolly Ahluwalia), Sukhi (Tusshar), Mintoo Hasan (Vinay Pathak) and Ballu (Ranvir Shorey). This is turn has only resulted into an enormous wave of need for vengeance. And when Mrs. Baweja decides to take things in her hand, there is no more stopping the good hearted underdog who have to become a ‘little BAD’ to fight the ‘very BAD’. Prabhudheva and Shahid Kapoor to match steps onscreen for the very first time for Rambo Rajkumar.

A visual treat for audiences across the country,director/choreographer Prabhudheva will now dance alongside Rambo Rajkumar's lead actor Shahid Kapoor, as the dancing sensations come together to share screen space for the very first time, for a song titled "Gandi Baat"
While Prabhudheva has performed for songs in the past, the director-choreographer is extremely excited to perform alongside Shahid Kapoor who in his opinion is one of Bollywood's most talented performers.
The song composed by Pritam will be shot in a bar setting, rehearsals of which are currently in process. If sources are to be believed, so excited are the duo that they are making time for special rehearsals before the song shoot goes on floors.
Confirming the news says producer Viki Rajani, " Gandi Baat is a highlight song in the film and will be well remembered as we have 2 of the biggest and best dancers matching steps to a peppy track for the very first time".

Says Prabhudheva, “ I'm very excited about the song and Shahid and I are already rehearsing for it..... Its a fun and peppy track , Shahid and myself are hoping to satisfy the audiences”.

Says Shahid Kapoor, “Dancing with Prabhudheva is no easy task…I’m enjoying the challenge”.

Director producer Ajay Yadav threw a pre-release party for his psycho thriller ‘Bhadaas’. Film is all set to release on 28^th June 2013. Pakistani actress Meera was the first one to reach the venue along with director Ajay Yadav, “because I did not want to keep the press waiting,” she says. Later she was joined by Ashutosh Kaushik, Shree Rajput, Shiva and singer Swaroop Khan. 

Produced under the banner of SERENE FILMS and directed by Ajay Yadav, the psycho thriller Hindi film ‘BHADAAS’ is releasing all over on 28^th June 2013. With the star cast of Aryeman Ramse, Meera, Ahsutosh Kaushik, Shree Rajput, Ananth Mahadevan, Rudra Kaushish, Mohini Neelkanth and  Mushtaq Khan, it is the story of a young girl Daisy, Police inspector Vijay and Assistant Commissioner’s daughter Neha. THE SMURFS 2 - trailer launch + SAB TV's Taarak Mehta cast members are Smurfs India Ambassador​s!

Global Smurfs Day was held on 22^nd June 2013 to mark Smurfs creator Peyo’s birthday. The day was highlighted by a worldwide Smurf Ambassadors initiative, which began in Brussels as Veronique Culliford, Peyo’s daughter, appointed Smurf Ambassadors from 28 different countries – including India - and dispatched them to Paris, where much of The Smurfs 2 takes place.  The ambassadors dressed as Smurfs and then boarded their Smurfs-themed Thalys train for Paris.  

In Paris, a huge flash mob greeted them by dancing to Britney Spears’ song “Ooh La La” from the film’s soundtrack – with a little help from Silvia Notargiacomo, choreographer of the French version of “Dancing with the Stars.”  The ambassadors also got to take a goodwill tour of Paris.

Ambassadors who travelled to Brussels and Paris included a wide range of Smurf fans, including television personalities, voice talent, choreographers, contest winners, and journalists -- and not least, characters Tapu and Champak Lal (Dadaji) from the top rated show on India’s SAB TV - “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah”. The show will be integrating the Global Smurfs Day celebration in Brussels and Paris into its storyline in July, ensuring that even their fictional characters Tapu and Champak Lal pay homage to the Smurfs. But the Ambassadors’ tour was just the beginning, as people in countries around the world celebrated this special day.  Iconic locations visited by the Smurfs include the beaches of Athens; Dublin’s Ha’Penny Bridge and Moscow’s Gorky Park, which were covered in Smurf-blue flowers to celebrate; Australia’s Surfers Paradise, where city signage was actually changed to Smurfers Paradise for the day; the busy tramways of Hong Kong; Castel Sant’Angelo in Rome; and the Leaning Tower of Pisa; in China, Smurf figurines took over the world-famous Great Wall and other iconic locations around the country.  

Elsewhere, Smurfs signed a giant birthday card for Peyo in Mexico City; visited children’s hospitals in Finland; painted Portuguese neighborhoods and South African orphanages blue; and joined the group Right Said Fred in a sing-along in London.

Finally, in Los Angeles, Neil Patrick Harris, star of The Smurfs 2, was on hand at the Grove as families enjoyed the day with appearances by the Smurfs, played the Ubisoft video game, sampled Menchie’s Smurfberry frozen yogurt, checked out the environmentally friendly, 100% electric Smurf-ified DASH cars, and participated in other fun activities.  In addition, the U.S. Forest Service and Ad Council’s Discover the Forest campaign was be on hand to distribute activity booklets and encourage children and their families to get outside and experience the many benefits of nature.  In the evening, families caught the first Smurfs film at an evening outdoor screening.
