The wheels have started rolling for this year’s high octane action saga aka Zanjeer 2.0 with the online trailer launch this Friday 5th July!! Keeping the trademarks of Indian cinema intact but with a contemporary twist, Zanjeer 2.0 is apparently premised on the subject of 'Oil Mafia’ and will see the rugged and ripped Ram Charan battle his way to eliminate the deadly cartels.
But what’s intriguing, is that we have learnt the talented actor Atul Kulkarni’s character is inspired by none other than the slain ace journalist J-Dey!
With, the plot surrounded around the Oil Mafia and the Crime Reporter being essayed as an important character, apparently trade insiders who have seen the first rushes are drawing connections with the events leading up to the gruesome killing of the Mid-day Journalist J-DEY with the scenes of the film, with the Rang De Basanti star portraying the journalist.
Zanjeer will be resurrected with ample new punch and sizzle onscreen and is slated to release this September 6th, 2103!!
