Khoobsurat completes 100 episodes

Sony Entertainment Television’s show Khoobsurat completed 100 episodes today. All the cast and crew of the serial celebrated their 100^th episode with great grandeur. The main lead Soumya Seth a.k.a Aaradhya’s on screen son Ehsaas was the one cutting the cake with immense joy, while everyone stood back clapping and singing. Everyone on the set seemed truly glad and all of them together literally looked ‘khoobsurat’ as a team indeed.

Journalism is a difficult job to do- Shradha Sharma

Actor  Shradha Sharma who impressed Rakhi Sawant and Farah Khan some days ago is now working day and night hard to impress her fans. And Fans! Be ready to see their favourite celebrity playing the lead role in upcoming Hindi film “Sarfaroshi”

There were few scripts in her hand but why shradha chosen this film is only because of the challenging role of journalist which she would play in the film. While shooting this film Shradha realised that how difficult is to be a journalist. She says, “Journalism is a difficult job to do and it took many shots to give a final one but I like and satisfied with the  character I have got and working hard to give this role a real effect”

She also added, “I have sympathy for those  journalists who work without caring about their life and sometimes even sacrifice it  for the sake of our country’s pride and I salute them for their courage”

Well, Shradha is playing the lead role in the Film Sarfaroshi opposite to actor/producer Dillzan Wadia and the film will be directed by Mr. Bhagirathi.

Q: What’s your feeling as the part of Shorts?

A: I feel really great to be part of the film, because this film made with a lot of effort and lots of hardship. My director Siddharth was an Assistant Director in Gangs of Wasseypur and he had a very unique concept. The actor in me immediately said yes to the script.

It’s really fantastic that Anurag has managed to release the film, because when a short film is made they never see light of the day. At best they go to competition and then no one hears of them.

After Bombay Talkies, people are opening up to the idea of short films. It’s good for directors, actors and young talents that these films can be release now.

Q: Do you think audience will accept short films?

A: Why not? If, we can move from test cricket to One Day cricket to 20-20 cricket then why can’t we move from feature to short films?

Q: Tell us something about your character in Epilogue which is part of Shorts?

A: It was a very challenging role, because it’s a completely dialogue-less script. At best what you conveying through your eyes, laughter and some sounds. You really can’t speak at all. I really think it’s really hard to communicate like that. Hats off to Siddharth for being able to that and his theme was very complex.

Q: What are doing after the success of Fukrey?

A: I am reading many scripts after the success of Fukrey. I am going to announce multiple things very soon.

Q: How you feel when people call you Bholi Punjaban?

A: It always happens with me. First when I did Oye Lucky Oye people used to call me Dolly, then Nagma after Gangs of Wasseypur and now Bholi.

Q: Art or commercial, which film you prefer?

A: You can never classify a film or slot it now. A good film is a commercial film. Like mine in Shorts.
