Newbie Pooja Welling is all geared up for her next release Dussehra. Produced by Aparna Hoshing of Rash Production and directed by Manish Vatsalya, Dussehra is a political thriller starring Neil Nitin Mukesh and Tena Dessae.
The starlet puts forward her second foot in Bollywood with Dussehra. She was last seen with Ravi Kishan in action thriller - Jeena Hai Toh Thok Daal. And Dussehra happens to be the second action thriller for the naïve actress. Having done an action thriller earlier, pooja could get the déja-vu with every performance while shooting for Dussehra. The action studded thriller has many astonishing action sequences with the lead – Neil Nitin Mukesh playing the tough cop.
The glamour world is not new to the starlet, as she has done some reputed projects in the past. To add to her credentials, she has done 4 Marathi films and is a recognized name in the industry. Some of her work also includes TV ads with reputed brands like Airtel, where she shared screen space with Shahrukh Khan, then the corporate ad for TATA Housing loan, Fair n Lovely, BSNL, etc are some ads done by her. The aspiring actress has also walked the ramp for Maybelline New York, Neeta Lulla to name a few.
When asked about her role in Dussehra, she said “It’s great to be part of a political film like Dussehra at the initial phase of ones career. The sole idea of doing this film is the storyline and the character I portray in the film. I am glad to do a reality based venture as my second project and according to me, the best part of such films is that, you don’t have to put efforts to perform; your act effortlessly looks natural and real.”
Dussehra is a political action thriller which is being produced by Aparna Hoshing under the banner of Rash Production Pvt Ltd and is being directed by Manish Vatsalya. Along with Neil Nitin Mukesh, Tena Dessae, Manish Vatsalya, the film also stars Pooja Welling, Govind Naamdev, Ashwini Kalsekar, Murli Sharma, Shubhangi Gokhale, Pankaj Jha, Sharat Saxena etc.
