Sony TV's CID has always come up with innovative ideas when it comes to keeping the audience glued to their new cases. In an upcoming episode, CID finds an injured body in the woods which looks like it's been eaten by wild animals. But Inspector Salunkhe discovers that the victim was actually murdered and not injured. CID finds the DNA and other evidence from the crime scene and from the victim's clothes. This leads them to a woman named Geeta who is the victim's estranged husband. In a twist, Geeta turns out to be Inspector Rajat's moo boli sister. He defends Geeta and says that there is no way that she is the killer. But all the evidence points towards her.  ACP and Inspector Rajat have a war of words.
Is Geeta the killer or is someone trying to frame her. And if she's innocent will Rajat be able to save his sister?

Synopsis - Blame it on Yashraj, is a hilarious story of a Punjabi/Bengali family caught up in the whirlwind of a wedding getting bigger and bigger by the day, when their darling daughter decides to marry a Muslim boy. Innovatively mounted, with fast changing video walls as backdrops, every scene and every emotion enhanced with music and dances, hilarious musical parodies of popular Bollywood chartbusters, an ensemble cast of well-known stage and TV artists, with foot tapping musical score of Louis Bank, the play promises to be a laugh a minute roller coaster ride.
The humour in the play comes, not from gags, but from a feeling that`` I have seen that, I have said that, I have experienced that in my family`` kind of identification. It`s a mirror to our life being shown on stage.
