ONE DIRECTION: THIS IS US - Global Premiere tonight on 6th September

The band quickly gained a following to become one of the competition's all-time most popular acts, finishing in the final three and garnering a gigantic and loyal fanbase along the way. In March 2012, One Direction's debut album, "Up All Night," made U.S. history, as it was the first time a U.K. group's debut album entered the U.S. Billboard 200 chart at No. 1. The band has sold over 30 million records worldwide. In November 2012, One Direction released their sophomore album, "Take Me Home," which includes the No. 1 single, "Live While We're Young," and are currently on a sold-out world tour. One Direction's 3D motion picture film This is Us is in theaters nationwide on August 30th and features the new hit single "Best Song Ever."

शिकागो में तीन महीने तक धूम

पिछले दिनों यशराज फिल्म्स  बैनर तले बनी धूम सीरीज की तीसरी फिल्म धूम ३ इसी साल दिसम्बर में दिसम्बर में क्रिसमस डे वीकेंड में रिलीज़ होगी.  इस फिल्म में दो धूम फिल्मों के अभिषेक  बच्चन और उदय चोपड़ा अपनी अपनी  भूमिका निबाह रहे  हैं।  पिछले दिनों इस फिल्म की शूटिंग शिकागो शहर में तीन  महीने तक हुइ. इस शूटिंग की कुछ झलकियाँ जारी हुई है. पेश है इनमे से कुछ फोटो।







 

Jee le Zara’ trends No. 1 on TwitterSony

 

 Entertainment Television has captured the digital space with the premiere of Kehta hain dil…Jee le zara on August 15, 2013. The show starring Sangeeta Ghosh as the female lead, created a lot of buzz among the twitterati becoming the No. 1 trending topic nationwide.#Jee le zara was the No. 1 trending topic in India with over 7700 tweets and nearly 5.37 million people joining the conversation. The success of the show can be made out from this point that it was amongst the No. 1 trending topic twice on August 15. The #Jee le zara moment contest also helped propel its viewership. This is not all! The social space also buzzed with tweets from bollywood celebrities. Ketan Mehta announced the completion of ‘Manjhi-The Mountain Man’ on Dashrath Manjhi’s death anniversary

Marking the occasion of Dashrath Manjhi’s 6^th death anniversary (punyatithi), ace director, Ketan Mehta announced the completion of his movie Manjhi – The Mountain Man. A biopic on Dashrath Manjhi, famous for being the man who broke a mountain for love, movie Manjhi – The Mountain Man is a co-production between Maya Movies Pvt. Ltd. and National Film Development Corporation. The movie is co-written and directed by Ketan Mehta and produced by Deepa Sahi and Nina Lath Gupta, with an impressive ensemble cast. Manjhi – The Mountain Man is now ready to release.

Set in 1960, the movie Manjhi – The Mountain Man, tells the inspiring love story of a poor Shah Jahan, Dashrath Manjhi. Over 22 years, with just a hammer and a chisel, he carved out a path through a mountain, in memory of his beloved wife who had fallen down while trying to cross it. He did it so that no one else would have to suffer her fate. The movie has been shot on actual locations in remote areas of Bihar.  

“It’s an incredible story. What Manjhi has done is greater than anything anyone could’ve ever done for love. He made a monument of love, with his own hands by breaking the mountain and paving the way. And it goes beyond being just a thing of beauty like the Taj Mahal – it actually transformed the life of the entire region! I am completely fascinated by Manjhi and am glad that finally I can take this inspiring love story to the world”, said Director Ketan Mehta.  

Internationally acclaimed actor, Nawazuddin Sidiqqui, who has won the hearts of audience and critics alike, for his commendable performances in GOW, Talaash, Kahaani and Bombay Talkies, will be essaying the role of Dashrath Manjhi. Actress Radhika Apte, will be seen as Manjhi’s wife. The impressive ensemble cast includes Tigmanshu Dhulia, Pankaj Tripathi, Prashant Narayan, Gaurav Dwivedi amongst others. 

Commenting on the reason behind choosing actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui to play the role of Manjhi, Ketan Mehta said,“I have seen his work, he is a brilliant actor- the intensity he lends to his characters and his body type suits Manjhi perfectly”.  

“It was one of the most difficult films to shoot, with the unit having to climb a mountain on foot, every day literally”, said Deepa Sahi, Producer, Manjhi –The Mountain Man. “The movie is looking very nice, with brilliant performances by all the artists. We have completed the post-production today and are looking forward to release it by the end of this year”, she further added.
