Bombay Velvet : Anurag's 9-year old Passion

Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma's Bombay Velvet is a realisation of Anurag Kashyap's long cherished dream that he has lived day in and day out for the last nine years. The ace director made this revelation at the first ever press conference of the film in Colombo, Sri Lanka, where the first schedule of the film is currently underway. Anurag said, "  This is my biggest film ever and when I was leaving for Sri Lanka, it hit me that my nine year dream was becoming real."  The film maker who has also spoken about the film being his most commercial ever, has left no stone unturned to make sure Bombay Velvet turns out to be an epic in its scale and magnitude.
Infact, Anurag's partner at Phantoms, co-producers of Bombay Velvet, Vikas Bahl added, "  When we got an idea about the scale of the film, our first worry was to find a place where we could make a film of such a massive scale. We were sure that we won't make any amends for this film. We wanted to ensure that we did full justice to Anurag's dream.
For Anurag, the making of Bombay Velvet, which is his biggest film, is also a culmination of his rise as a force to reckon with and as one of country's foremost directors. That is one sentiment which found echo and validation at the press conference, not just from his actors-- Ranbir and Anushka or his partners Vikas Bahl and Vikramaditya Motwane but also from Fox Star Studios, who are backing the project. Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios, concluded, "We are extremely glad that we got the opportunity to partner with Anurag  in his dream project. We believe and share his vision. He has our full backing and all of us, from the cast and the crew of the film, are excited to bring this movie to our audiences globally on Dec 25th 2014. "
The first schedule of Bombay Velvet started in the third week of July 2013 and is likely to continue till 1st week of September 2013.

Actress Kritika Chaudhary a cocktail of Beauty and Glamour

Kritika Chaudhary a divine beauty from Haridwar knocks on gate of Bollywood. Kritika was having a strong passion for acting since her childhood, so after completing her studies, with permission of her parents she came to Delhi for a acting course. Her mother who is with famous ‘Anchor’ company and her father who is in business of ‘Tours and Travel’ were hesitating to allow her to take up acting as her carrier, as they were afraid by various news of casting couches in Bollywood, but seeing Kritika’s determination and strong will power they gave her permission.
After completing her acting course Kritika without wasting any time directly landed in Mumbai in 2011, and was lucky enough to meet Queen of Soap Opera Ekta Kapoor through a common friend, and she got a breakthrough with getting a important character in Balaji’s serial ‘Parichay-Nayee Zindagi Ke Sapno Ka’ which was telecast from Aug 2011, and where she played role of Kunal Chopra’s cousin. Unfortunately she was not satisfied with the way her character grew up in this serial. So she decided not to do any more TV serials, until and unless she gets a major role.
During this period she got a chance to meet film director Vishwas Patil through her friend Vicky who was casting director. Vishwas Patil was making a film ‘Rajjo’ with Kangana Ranaut, Mahesh Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Jaya Prada and Dilip Tahil, and was in search of beautiful and cute girl to play role of Kangana’s friend, and thus Kritika Chaudhary got a break in silver celluloid. Now this film is complete and will be released soon.
Kritika Chaudhary has also signed a bilingual film in Tamil and Telugu being directed by M. A. Choudhary based on English film ‘I Like You, You Like Me’ which is going to start soon.
Currently she is doing two Bollywood Movies, one “MUMBAI CAN DANCE SAALA” a film based on after-life of bar girls after closing of dance bars in Mumbai,  Film is being produced by Ranjeet Sharma and written, directed by Sachindra Sharma, with music by Bappi Lahiri. Second one is “Model” produced and directed by Sumeet Chawla.
Kritika says “This short span of my life in Mumbai and in Bollywood has taught me to face every situation whatever comes in your way. And I believe I will definitely carve a place in Bollywood and make my parents proud”.

Aashka Goradia and Faisal Khan off screen bonding

The apparent spiteful on screen relation that Faizal Khan and Aashka  Goradia share on screen is getting quite platonic off screen. Aashka who was dehydrated in the middle of the shoot due to the hectic schedule was advised complete rest and was sent home. Aashkha absence was greatly felt and just to express his heartfelt concern towards Aashka, faisal engraved her name on a wall. Both of them try to spend their time with each other no matter in which unit they are shooting for.
