Mahesh Bhatt unveils crossborder composers who unite India and Pak with peace anthem

Two young men Mudasir Ali from India and Hamza Akram from Pakistan meet on facebook and facebook and compose and sing an Indo-Pak peace anthem. What helps them is skype, again a borderless software!
Today, after the duo met each other and Mahesh Bhatt to seek his blessings for Dil ki Udaan sarhad ke paar hai, the film is the promotional song for the Punjabi film Dil Pardesi Ho Gaya and Bhatt saab once again launches the song and blesses the duo, thus unveiling to the world two young men across the border, who make music across borders for Bollywood and beyond.
While the Indian singer Mudasir Ali is a sufi singer, Hamza Akram from Pak is a traditional qawwal from generations, while lyricist Anusha Srinivasan Iyer is a journalist and Image strategist from over two and half decades. Said Mahesh Bhatt, "any initiative that brings peace and harmony should be supported and these youngsters are very talented. The song Dil ki udaan sarhad ke paar hai and the film (that it is being showcased in Dil Pardesi Ho Gaya)" are both following principles that Gandhiji strived for
and that is why I am standing here, supporting them. It is something we all should do."

Amitabh Bachchan to Introduce Akshay Kumar in 'BOSS'!!

When two superstars get together, the result is bound to be nothing short than spectacular. Akshay Kumar’s new film, BOSS, has been getting a lot of attention since the time the film’s trailer was launched a few days ago. Now, the makers have added another trump card to the movie.
Two days back, they managed to get none other than Amitabh Bachchan to do the complete voiceover for the film and to also introduce the character of Boss in the movie.
It’s no secret that Akshay has been a huge Bachchan fan over the years. In fact, he was the first actor to say that when it comes to the No. 1 title, it’s only been Amitabh Bachchan who’s been the crown king for so many years.
In BOSS, Akshay’s character has a huge build-up before he makes an entry on screen. That build-up is done through a voiceover that introduces the character of BOSS.
From the time the script was penned, the makers always believed that no one other than Amitabh Bachchan could do justice to the introduction of such a strong and larger-than-life character. It was important also because the voiceover propels the film from the first reel and sets the tone for the entire movie.
When the script was sent to Bachchan, he loved the idea and immediately agreed to be a part of the movie. Now, the makers are more than pleased because they couldn’t have asked for anything better.
Producer Ashwin Varde says, “I’ve known Mr. Bachchan for years now because of my journalism background. But more importantly, I’ve grown up on his films. Probably the reason why I am in movies today is because of him. When I called him and requested him to be a part of BOSS, he agreed. It’s like a dream come true – to have a legend like him giving an introduction to the film.”
Bachchan was given a script of the scenes well in advance. And despite his busy schedule, he made it a point to complete the dubbing at the earliest. He came sharp at 8.30am to BR Dubbing Theater in Juhu, Mumbai, and finished the job in 30 minutes flat. He also improvised on the lines, much to the delight of the film’s makers.
Akshay has been an Amitabh fan for years now. The actor was most happy when he learnt that Bachchan had become a part of his new film. Says Akshay, “It’s an honor and a privilege to have a legend like Amitabh Bachchan introduce my character in BOSS. I’ve been his biggest fan since childhood and have even had the pleasure of working with him. He is an institution by himself.”
The AB-AK magic is all set to hit the screens on 16th October this year, when BOSS hits the screens.
BOSS is produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, Cape Of Good Films and
Ashwin Varde  Productions and is directed by Anthony D'souza.
