Auspicious Oct 11 release for Shuja Ali’s Baat Bann Gayi

Year 2013 has been Bollywood’s most successful year thus far, which have had many films shifting release dates to hit the silver screen on a suitable week. Almost every week there have been 4 to 5 new releases and in some weeks the numbers have gone to as high as ten. Picking a good release date has been a big task for corporate houses and movie makers. Anil Sharma’s Singh Sahab The Great has joined this league when they have shifted their release date from  October 11 to November end. Incidentally, Balaji Films has postponed the release of Ragini MMS 2 from this given date thus giving comic caper Baat Bann Gayi an auspicious Oct 11 release option.

“Considering the mammoth success of Chennai Express was released on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and is still running to packed houses, we have decided to release our film, Baat Bann Gayi on Oct 11, as there are two auspicious events Dussehra and Bakri Eid,” avers producer Sayed Asif Jah.

Baat Bann Gayi is a romantic comedy enriched with the classical plot of ‘duals’, which depicts the comedy of errors when look alike of characters encounter each other. Unexpected, hilarious situations arise because of mistaken identity.  Kabir (Ali Fazal) is deeply in love with Rachna (Anisa). After a lot of hiccups he is successful in impressing Rachna’s brother Laxmi Nivas (Gulshan Grover) with his antics. The real twist in the tale comes when Kabir’s look alike Rasiya Bihari (Ali Fazal), who works for a land mafia Carlos Rehbar Pasha (Razzak Khan), also gives his heart away to Rachna. And Rachna and her family mistakes him for Kabir. Kabir, on the other hand is confused as people are mistaking him for Rasiya..

Another twist comes when Rasiya bumps into Debu (Gulshan Grover), a dance teacher who is not straight and he exactly looks like Laxmi Nivas. Wild mishaps begin because of mistaken identity. The comedy of doubles becomes the comedy of double trouble. Whole lot of trouble and confusions turn the flow of the narrative into a hilarious, thrilling roller coaster ride full of madness, surprises, and stomach aching humorous situations.

Presented by Jaypeeco India Pvt Ltd and Vibhu Agarwal, Baat Bann Gayi,  produced by Sayed Asif Jah and Megha Agarwal, is directed by Shuja Ali. The film is a production of Jaypeeco Infotainment in association with ASR Media. Baat Bann Gayi, starring Ali Fazal, Gulsan Grover, Anisa, Amrita Raichand, Razzak Khan and Akshay Singh. Canadian duo Josh create a special remix of Priyanka Chopra's Exotic.

India’s celebrating Priyanka Chopra’s debut single “Exotic” by creating remixes that cater to the diaspora worldwide. The track, which has been featured on prominent US outlets including Entertainment Tonight,E! News, and celebrity blog Perez Hilton, has led to Canadian duo JoSH to produce a remix inspired by Priyanka’s Indian roots.
 JoSH is a prominent band among the massive South Asian diaspora in Canada, India and Pakistan. They were the first North American based band to win MTV India’s “Best New Artist of the Year Award,” and have won over 25 awards for their music over the past 12 years. JoSH was the first South-Asian band to successfully collaborate with a Grammy-award winning mainstream artist, Nelly Furtado - their remix with Furtado, which was entitled "Powerless DESI REMIX" charted in many parts of the world including India.  Their recent track "Mahi Ve" sat at #1 for six weeks on UK’s BBC Asian Radio and won MTV Pakistan’s “Best Song of the Year Award.”

The pair now look to carry forward their successful association with the latest madcap comedy Phata Poster Nikla Hero ,starring Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D’cruz.

With dreams of being a movie hero,Shahid Kapoor essays the role of Vishwas who begins his journey to stardom ,only to meet with a girl ,who turns everything around ,leading to complications,out-and-out entertaining episodes and lots of madness, Phata Poster Nikla Hero is every bit the crazy film all told in signature Rajkumar Santoshi style.

Ice & Snow Ganpati’s city “Snow World”

The creativity is reflecting in the city showcasing mythological stories, current affairs etc and in-between all of these we have an emerging & very innovative Ice Ganpati for the Mumbaikars in snow world with the temperature of minus 10 degrees.

This spirituality with innovation comes from one amongst reputed business tycoons of the city, the Director of Freezing Rains at Snow World in Kurla, Mr. Rajendra Jain. “I am a devout believer of Lord Ganesha. The Ice Ganesha is my way of paying homage to the Lord. We started the concept of Ice Ganesha from last year, where we had a theme of BAL Ganesha. This was well received by the devotees of Lord Ganesha and thousands of devotees took the darshan of this Ice BAL Ganesha. Mr. Jain said that this year we have 3 different types of ganesh idol each 4 feet tall is made of 600 kg of ice and 50 kg snow. The idol is illuminated with special lighting as well as gold ornament following with garlands. A puja with traditional diya and kapur will be done.

“Freezing Rains at Snow World” spread across 20000 sq feet is located at Phoenix Market City, LBS Marg, Kurla (West). It is one of the best such property in Asia with facilities of ice skating, snow play area, Ice slide, Type of sledging frozen waterfall, Tunnel, Igloo and many more attractions that too  in a city like Mumbai where youths can learn as well as master the skills of snow sports. It freezes down to two things: the quality of snow and space. Management made a deep study on the natural process of snow making. The snow is made from water copying the natural process through Canadian machines, which gives a natural experience and it is soft and clean. The snow world has a capacity of 250 people and to protect from freezing cold inside, it provides jackets, gloves, boots, hood and other accessories which is complimentary.
