The creativity is reflecting in the city showcasing mythological stories, current affairs etc and in-between all of these we have an emerging & very innovative Ice Ganpati for the Mumbaikars in snow world with the temperature of minus 10 degrees.
This spirituality with innovation comes from one amongst reputed business tycoons of the city, the Director of Freezing Rains at Snow World in Kurla, Mr. Rajendra Jain. “I am a devout believer of Lord Ganesha. The Ice Ganesha is my way of paying homage to the Lord. We started the concept of Ice Ganesha from last year, where we had a theme of BAL Ganesha. This was well received by the devotees of Lord Ganesha and thousands of devotees took the darshan of this Ice BAL Ganesha. This year we have already started receiving calls from the public enquiring about Ice Ganesha and seeing their excitement we have decided to keep two Ice Ganesha at Snow World.”
This is only possible due to the available infrastructure at Snow World.
Mr. Jain said that this year we have 3 different types of ganesh idol each 4 feet tall is made of 600 kg of ice and 50 kg snow. The idol is illuminated with special lighting as well as gold ornament following with garlands. A puja with traditional diya and kapur will be done.

It is one of the best such property in Asia with facilities of ice skating, snow play area, Ice slide, Type of sledging frozen waterfall, Tunnel, Igloo and many more attractions that too  in a city like Mumbai where youths can learn as well as master the skills of snow sports. It freezes down to two things: the quality of snow and space. Management made a deep study on the natural process of snow making. The snow is made from water copying the natural process through Canadian machines, which gives a natural experience and it is soft and clean. The snow world has a capacity of 250 people and to protect from freezing cold inside, it provides jackets, gloves, boots, hood and other accessories which is complimentary.

Ganesh Chaturti Quotes from Sony TV Artists

Sangeeta Ghosh as Saanchi :

I love Ganesh Chaturti festival. The environment is really amazing, divine and peaceful with lightings everywhere. During Ganesha festival my few close friends and family get Ganpati at their house so I make it a point to visit it once and take Ganpati Bappa’s blessings. I believe in Siddhivinayak and try to visit the temple whenever I get time from my shootings. I love to eat Modak..  This Ganesh festival for now I don’t have any plans as I might be shooting.

I am very fond of Lord Ganesha, since 8 years we are getting ganpati at our garage . My mother does all the decoration of the mandir and I am the one who does the puja in the evenings. Every year during ganpati festival I do make it a point to visit Siddhivinayak temple. Infact  whenever I make any important decision in my life like starting  any project or buying a new car I do visit Siddhivinayak temple to get the blessings of Lord Ganesha. This year I am planning to do the same get Ganpati in my garage and if I am free and not shooting I will do the pujas in the evening.

In my childhood days when I used to live in Dadar I used to watch Lalbaug ka Raja passing through my house and I used to get so excited to see them, so huge and divine. Every year I make sure to visit Siddhivinayak temple and get baba’s blessing. I have few close family and friends who get Ganpati at their house so I do make a visit there. I also love the whole visrajan part, the dancing the enjoyment everything is so much of fun. I am a stern believer in Ganpati. I always pray ganpati to keep everyone happy.  When I was young we always got Ganpati at our house. Those days were really fun, like making sweets, cleaning house, making decoration for ganpati  festival and singing ganpati  aarti’s. The environment is very peaceful and happy everywhere. My bother in law also gets ganesh idol at my in-laws place. In total I have got 50 ganesh idols at my house which my friends and family had gifted me. I desperately wait for this festival. No plans for this year because of work and even I can’t travel much. But I will enjoy with my family members and In-laws.

Aanchal Munjal as Pihu :
I love Ganapti, it’s one of my favorite festival.  I had a desire that the day I get my own house I will get Ganpati to my place but my mom didn’t agree to it. She told me if we get it once than every year we have to get it and due to my busy schedule I don’t know if that can be possible. But  I do have a permanent Ganpati idol in my house whose puja I do every morning. My very close friend gets ganpati at her place so I make a point to go there and attend their aarti and also the visarjan. I love dancing during visarjans I don’t care who is around me I will just dance and have my own fun.  Every year me and my mother think of going to visit Lalbaug someday but it still not happened so I wish I can go this year.

Chandani as Amita
In my childhood we use to get Ganpati at my place. It was really amazing time and peaceful environment at home. I use to help my mom in making sweets, cleaning house and dad in decoration; we use to start all this preparation one week before. Now that I have started working and at the same time I am studying too so I don’t get time. But I really miss those days it was really fun. No plans for this Ganesh Chaturti, I may celebrate with my family.

At my mother’s place it comes for seven days and I personally do all the preparations for it.
