Sakshi Tanwar to quit Bade Achchhe Lagate Hain !!!

Sony Television Entertainment Television’s popular show Bade Acche Laggte Hain is all set to woo its viewers with a seven year leap. The show will witness all new storyline and new characters and new faces. The show started as a story of how a 40-plus man and a 30-plus woman fall in love after marriage with Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar playing the lead. Now seven years later, the audience will be introduced to a grownup Pihu, Pari and Myrah. Pihu the eldest of the three daughters will be played by the beautiful Fenil Umrigar while Pragati Chorasia will be playing the role of Pari and Vinti Idlani will be playing the character of Myrah in the show. Ram Kappor will be doing his best to play a perfect parent to his children. While we see Ram being all protective of Pihu, Pari and Myrah we wonder where mommy Priya Kapoor is! Initially Sakshi’s character will be shown slipping into comma.

But will this eventually lead to her exit from the show????

‘MOKSSH – Journey Of The Soul’

Synopsis

Hindi feature film MOKSHA is a unique cinematic experience and the story of self-discovery and transformation of a film director ‘Parth’ during his film making process of ‘Waari’, the 18 day long Journey of pilgrimage. Warkaris nonstop chanting and musical celebration in the name of God Mauli [mother of the Universe] leads to moksha.

Parth, a young, ambitious and egoistic film director from Mumbai, is in a live-in relationship with his love Geetali. Eric, an Anthropology PhD student from US invites Parth to make for him a path-breaking international film on Waari, wherein millions of devotees walk together for 250 kms in 18 days, just to meet their beloved lord Vithoba. Parth undertakes the challenge to capture this eventful journey of millions in a contemporary manner and to capture the grandeur and soul of Waari. The 18 Chapters of the Dyaneshwari (a household religious book followed by Warkaris as a key to bliss and happy living) unfold very interestingly with real life characters in the pilgrimage

First look of Shuja Ali’s film Baat Bann Gayi which is set to release on October 11 th

Synopsis: Baat Bann Gayi is a romantic comedy enriched with the classical plot of ‘duals’, which depicts the comedy of errors when look alike of characters encounter each other. Unexpected, hilarious situations arise because of mistaken identity.  Kabir (Ali Fazal) is deeply in love with Rachna (Anisa). After a lot of hiccups he is successful in impressing Rachna’s brother Laxmi Nivas (Gulshan Grover) with his antics. The real twist in the tale comes when Kabir’s look alike Rasiya Bihari (Ali Fazal), who works for a land mafia Carlos Rehbar Pasha (Razzak Khan), also gives his heart away to Rachna. And Rachna and her family mistakes him for Kabir. Kabir, on the other hand is confused as people are mistaking him for Rasiya..

Another twist comes when Rasiya bumps into Debu (Gulshan Grover), a dance teacher who is not straight and he exactly looks like Laxmi Nivas. Wild mishaps begin because of mistaken identity. The comedy of doubles becomes the comedy of double trouble. Whole lot of trouble and confusions turn the flow of the narrative into a hilarious, thrilling roller coaster ride full of madness, surprises, and stomach aching humorous situations.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui announced the completion of ‘Manjhi-The Mountain Man’

Critically acclaimed actor Nawazzudin Siddiqui and ace director, Ketan Mehta announced the completion of their movie Manjhi – The Mountain Man. A biopic on Dashrath Manjhi, famous for being the man who broke a mountain for love,  Manjhi – The Mountain Man is a co-production between Maya Movies Pvt.Ltd. and National Film Development Corporation. The movie is co-written and directed by Ketan Mehta and produced by Deepa Sahi and Nina Lath Gupta, with an impressive ensemble cast. Manjhi – The Mountain Man is now ready to release.

Internationally acclaimed actor, Nawazuddin Sidiqqui, who has won the hearts of audience and critics alike, for his commendable performances in GOW, Talaash,

Kahaani and Bombay Talkies, will be essaying the role of Dashrath Manjhi. Actress Radhika Apte, will be seen as Manjhi’s wife. The impressive ensemble cast includes Tigmanshu Dhulia, PankajTripathi, Prashant Narayan, Gaurav Dwivedi amongst others.

Set in 1960, the movie Manjhi – The Mountain Man, tells the inspiring love story of a poor Shah Jahan, Dashrath Manjhi. Over 22 years, with just a hammer and a chisel, he carved out a path through a mountain, in memory of his beloved wife who had fallen down while trying to cross it. He did it so that no one else would have to suffer her fate. The movie has been shot on actual locations in remote areas of Bihar.

MADHURI DIXIT NENE'S FATHER PASSES AWAY

Mumbai, 13th September 2013
Madhuri Dixit Nene's father, Shankar R Dixit, passed away this morning in his sleep. He was 91. His family was by his side.
Madhuri said "We'll miss him but we know he lived a full life. We thank all those who have offered their condolences and prayers."
