Its celebration time in Sony Entertainment Television’s popular historical show Maharana Pratap. Entire Mewar is rejoicing as the fight for Yuvraj of Mewar comes to an end. Maharana Pratap has won the battle against his brother Shakti and would soon be proclaimed the successor of Uday Singh’s kingdom with proper rituals. The whole of Mewar is joyous and busy with the preparation for the grand anointment ceremony. But Mewar has another reason to celebrate. Pratap has succeeded in convincing Uday Singh to take marriage vows with Jayvantibai.  

Amidst the pomp and gaiety, there is someone who is unhappy with Uday Singh’s closeness for Jawantibai. Dheerbai is livid seeing Uday Singh oozing love for Jaywanti. Her furiousness will see her set her chamber on fire and trying to kill herself. Uday Singh will come to her rescue and save her. It’s only then Jawantibai will discover the evil eye of Dheerbai and realize her wicked plan. Dheerbai threatens Jawantibai that if she can put her own life in danger then imagine what she can do to Maharana Pratap.

IPRS gave medical aid to lyricist Salim Bijnori at their office in Andheri West

Hasan Kamal a well known lyricist and chairman of IPRS ( Indian Performing Right Society) ,O P Sonik (known as Sonik Omi music director) and director of IPRS along with Rakesh Nigam,CEO are giving medical support to their members every year.This year they gave Rs 80,000 to lyricist Salim Bijnori who has got brain stoke two years back.He has written more than 110 songs.His medical and financial condition was bad so Hasan Kamal and other committee member decided to help Salim with more money.Basically we give Rs 25,000 as medical support but this case is critical so we are giving extra amount as said by Rakesh Nigam.We have given medical support to needy peoples worth Rs 12 Lakh in last three years.We feel happy to support everyone. 

Ben Affleck- Justin Timberlake’s Crime dram RUNNER RUNNER releases on 4th October 2013!

From the stable of Fox Star Studios comes a taut crime drama thriller starring an elite ensemble cast of Ben Affleck, Justin Timberlake and Gemma Arterton aka RUNNER RUNNER releasing on 4^th October in India!

Princeton grad student Richie (Justin Timberlake), believing he’s been swindled, travels to Costa Rica to confront online gambling tycoon Ivan Block (Ben Affleck).  Richie is seduced by Block’s promise of immense wealth, until he learns the disturbing truth about his benefactor. Soon thereafter, Richie falls for Block’s associate –sophisticated COO Rebecca (Gemma Arterton) and he embraces a world that sees all of his fantasies come to life.  When the FBI tries to coerce Richie to help bring down Block, Richie faces his biggest gamble ever: attempting to outmaneuver the two forces closing in on him. Richie must figure out a way to stay a step ahead of Block and Shavers – or risk a future behind bars.

The lavish life of RUNNER RUNNER’s gambling kingpin Ivan Block aka Ben Affleck is what RUNNER RUNNER director Brad Furman calls, “the new American dream.”  He elaborates:  “Technology has led us to a world where everything comes very quickly, which has expedited this concept of the American dream.  Young people today want everything faster – especially money.”

Justin Timberlake concurs, “Today, people don’t want to own a Cadillac; they want to invent their own car,” Timberlake continues.  “A generation of young people wants to start their own galaxy of entrepreneurial activities. People are constantly trying to reinvent the wheel, and things are moving at warp speed. It’s cutthroat.  It’s very cerebral and less about integrity, pride or honor, or any moral values.”

Timberlake’s Richie Furst is among those getting caught up in this irresistible but dangerous mindset.  His guide and “benefactor” is Ivan Block.  Block is the man behind the curtain of a billion-dollar online gambling empire.  Ben Affleck says the role provided an intriguing change of pace.  “I’ve done a couple of parts where the characters I play were reserved, quiet and internal, but Ivan is always ‘gunning the engine.’  He’s never at a loss for sexy monologues about life, and he enjoys spinning all kind of sophistry to Richie. I thought that Ivan and his world would be a lot of fun to explore.”

Director Brad Furman came to RUNNER RUNNER fresh from the success of The Lincoln Lawyer in 2011. “I had a specific vision for RUNNER RUNNER, to create a journey down the rabbit hole for Richie,” he notes.  “The movie begins in New Jersey, and then Richie ends up in Costa Rica and a fantastic but corrupt world.”

Justin Timberlake describes his character’s descent: “Richie is a good guy in the wrong place, trying to do the right thing.  He’s constantly trying to hold on to his morals.  Richie is a dreamer and an idealist who makes an honest mistake and must figure out how he’s going to get out of it.”

English-born Gemma Arterton portrays Rebecca.   A gambling novice, Arterton nevertheless embraced the role. “I really liked the script, which I thought was clever and witty, and it portrayed a world I wanted to investigate.”

The story is fundamentally about wealth – the desire to have it and the impulse to protect it. That ethos is reflected in the look of the characters – slick and composed but tempered by the relaxing breeze of Costa Rica.  Think: finely tailored suits, linens, and body conscious styling!!

Akshay Kumar Stands on top of Gold Car when on Two Wheels!!

When we talk about action/stunts we can undoubtedly think only of our Bollywood action hero Akshay Kumar.

The superstar who will next be seen in an action/comedy flick BOSS this Dussera, is leaving no stone unturned to give his audiences a treat with the high-octane dare devil stunts!

For instance, a specially designed Mercedes was created for the grand entry of Akshay Kumar in BOSS!!

The car was shipped all the way from Europe to Bankok because of the special stunt which had to be pulled off! After it came to Bangkok the car was modified according to the requirements of the stunt!

A specially customized Bright Gold Mercedes car was created which is something that has never been tried before in Bollywood, it also added to the grandeur of the song ‘BOSS’!!

The grand entry is the title track of BOSS and Akshay would be seen balancing on the car which is on two wheels and without using any Cables for this stunt!!!

“When Akshay saw the car he was happily surprised seeing the bright golden Mercedes and loved the entire look of it, Usually it is the action driver who balances the car on two wheels, but Akshay wanted to take this stunt further by standing on the car while the car was balancing on two wheels. Only someone with his vast experience of action and stunts could have pulled this of", says a source close to the Production Team.

With the King of action doing the stunt, it is surely going to be Bollywood’s best ever grand entry for a hero!

Saif Ali Khan gets fitter for BULLETT RAJA!!

Bollywood leading actor and fitness freak, Saif Ali Khan is all geared up for his forthcoming film ‘Bullett Raja’ which is all set to release on November 29^th.
Nawab Saif Ali Khan will be seen in a very raw and rustic avatar in this film. And we hear that for this look the actor has been working out real hard. Insiders say that the films script is very demanding in terms of action and all the sequences are done by Saif Ali Khan himself.
When asked Saif about his fitness in Bullett Raja he said, “I wasn’t fit when I did the Race 2 run. I was okay but I am way fitter now and it looks different. If you are fit, your body language changes. You are more agile and the kind of action you do, particularly like in Bullett Raja, it’s incredibly physically demanding. It’s a great feeling when you are fit and you are looking good when they shoot you”
