TAHIRA KOCHAR AT BOOK LAUNCH

Former Miss India Finalist Tahira Kochar who debuted in recently released Rabba Main Kya Karoon launched her grandmother Nony Singh’s Photography Book “The Archivist”. The event happened at India habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.
Nony Singh is the mother of famous photographer Dayanita Singh, who is Tahira Kochar’s Maternal Aunt. The launch happened on the occasion of “Delhi Photo Festival” where Nony Singh with her granddaughter Tahira Kochar launched her book “The Archivist” and presented to veteran Photojournalist Raghu Rai.

Film “Music Meri Jaan” on the world of Reality Shows

A film based on the wide world of music reality shows in India, is ready for release produced by Vaidehi Arts.

A film that explores the reality of reality shows. A film that showcases the talent of 20 singers and dancers in the city of Mumbai selected from different cities of India these talented youngsters are hopeful of winning the show ‘Music MeriJaan’ produced for the top TV channel of India and take home 1 Crore prize money and loads of fame and name! During the course of their 3 months’ stay in Mumbai for the shoot of the show, the youngsters go through a variety of experiences, good, bad and ugly and are exposed to a whole lot of adjustments, uncertainties, jealousies, lobbying, pressure and a gamut of emotions! The contestants’ life during the shoot is controlled by none other than the show’s production manager played exemplarily by veteran actor Piyush Mishra who adds all the spice into their lives!

The film directed by Tanuja Shankar Khan, was shot in Indore, and boasts of excellent setting, peppy and youthful music, hit dance numbers and spectacular performances by its lead actors who are none other than Piyush Mishra, Paintal,Anooradha Patel,  Amarr Upadhyay,  Usha Bachani, SupriyaRaina, Kanupriya  and some very good fresh talents who are debuting in this film and who had been handpicked by a pan India casting audition!

The melodious and dramatic music and background score of the film has been given by Atul Raninga, Anuj Garg, Vinayak Netke and Aslam Keyn, whereas the film’s cinematography has been done by veteran bollywood cinematographer Nadeem Khan.  

The film’s art design and set has been done byKunal Bhandula who is an expert in reality shows’ set designing. And the mainstay of the film, its dances have been choreographed by Swaroopraj Medara and Himanshu Gadani. 

Commenting on her debut venture, Tanuja Shankar Khan who has been in the field of media for last 19 years, says, “Music Meri Jaan attempts to take the viewers in a realm of ‘ reality shows’ through these twenty youngsters who represent the youth of today. In a day and age where nearly every Indian family has an aficionado of talent shows and reality shows, this film will take a peak in their minds and psyches and feel their emotions while they go through various emotions in their struggle to win, and wish to become famous through such shows. Little do these youngsters know that such name and fame are but transitory and ephemeral…like touch and go…but nevertheless enough for millions of Indian kids to appear for auditions over and over again. My film explores these emotions in manner that would be healthy entertainment and dramatic to say the least.”

Having completed the film, Music Meri Jaan is ready to release its poster, trailors etc and hit the theaters by end of 2013.

Kaushik has been accused of murdering his doctor Dr. Chopra. He however claims that it wasn’t him but the makkhi who killed him. Everybody dismisses this justification. KD is also not convinced about this but he defends him on the grounds that he isn’t the killer. We see apart from Dr. Chopra, a railway officer was also killed and here too makkhi comes into the picture. Kd gets curious as to what is the mystery behind the makkhi. He gets shocked when in the office he himself sees the makkhi who tells that the next murdered will be Sundar and says itself to be Sanjana. Next day he got killed.Kd gets to know that Sanjana was a girl who went missing from the train in which Dr.Chopra, the railway officer and Sundar were also there. Kd tries to figure out the connection. What will Kd do now? What is the mystery behind the makkhi? What's the connection between Sanjana and the people who got killed? Why did the makkhi say Sanjana?

In tonight’s episode ,lawyer informs Saachi they have got hearing date on 26^th. DV meets Saachi and tries to convince her to at least meet sunil’s mama but he fails to do so as he doesn’t try his best. Ajji and Nani ask DV if saachi agreed and he just halfheartedly nods. They ask Saachi if she will meet Rishi and she agrees. Next morning preparations for mehendi are taking place. Saachi doesn’t like the flower arrangement. She shouts at flower guy and decides to do the job herself. DV offers her juice and makes sure workers do their job. Mehendi is being applied on Prachi’s hand. Ajji tells Nani to keep left over mehendi of Prachi for Saachi so that she also gets married soon.  Dilshaad tells saachi to get ready in her room. Saachi gets ready at Dilshaads house and meets DV. He gets lost in Sacchi’s beauty.

In tonight’s episode ,everyone is dancing and Saachi looks at Prachi and gets emotional. Dv notices and gives her hand kerchief to wipe tears. Saachi and family welcome Sunils family. Saachi’s earing falls and Rishi picks it up. DV helps saachi in finding her earring. Rishi gives Saachi’s earring to her. Dv is shocked at rishi being attractive.  Dv dances on salame ishq song, everyone else join him. He envies Rishi dancing with Saachi.. DV feels Rishi is right guy for Saachi when he finds Saachi’s family getting close to Rishi.  DV feels bad that sunil’s mother says about neighbor v/s family members. Rishi makes him feel like a guest and helps out instead of Dv himself who has been helping Saachi all along so he is jealous.

In tonight’s episode, nani suggests that Saachi take Rishi for a walk and show him the colony. Saachi and Rishi have nice conversation and as they laugh Saachi’s eyes fall on DV and Dilshaad. DV feels uneasy. Saachi’s bangle gets stuck in Rishi’s cufflinks. As they get close while removing it DV feels pain and is feeling the anger within .He is confused with his feelings and does not understand it. DV puts forward his opinion about Rishi that he is trying to be overly nice. Saachi tells him not to be   judgmental. DV is stunned to find Pradeep and Rishi boozing in a car. DV fumes as Pradeep and Rishi are chatting. When Sunil’s mother praises Rishi, DV questions Rishi why he could not drink in front of everyone. Sunil’s mother gets angry and tells Saachi to throw him out. Saachi is in dilemma.
