Akshay Kumar enters on a Jet- Ski for media interactions in DUBAI!!

BOSS aka Akshay Kumar who is currently in Dubai for the promotions of his forthcoming action caper 'BOSS' did something which has never been done before.

The actor addressed the media on a yacht. But thats not it. BOSS made his entry on the yacht by coming on a jet ski and surprised everyone who was present there.

Along with the superstar, YO YO Honey Singh and Aditi Rao Hydari also interacted with the media.

Well, we must say for BOSS everything is just so grand!!

Akshay Spots new Talent in a TV-Ad, signs him for a Pivotal role in BOSS

Superstar Akshay Kumar is one of the finest actors that we have in our film industry today.

Over the years he has successfully promoted new talent in the film Industry, like Shiv Pandit in BOSS

But this time the actor has gone a step ahead and has spotted a TV Actor Akash Dabade for a pivotal role in BOSS. Akshay went through the many audition rounds and there were also few established names which were shortlisted, but somehow he wasn’t convinced!

"It so happened that one day when Akshay was watching TV he spotted Akash in a television commercial for a mobile company, impressed by his sense of humor and acting Akshay immediately told his team to get in touch with Akash & signed him for the role without an audition" confirms a source 

The best part is that Akash has turned out to be one of the highlights of the film and is to watch out for!!

Suniel Shetty getting training from Prithipal Singh Bedi for his film Desi Kattey

Suniel Shetty came to Daddar Veer Sawarkar shooting range to get training from coach Prithipal Singh Bedi who came to Mumbai specially to coach the actor. Suniel Shetty was happy and nervous both as he was learning the tips of shooting for the first time. Anand Kumar, who had directed the Sanjay Dutt-Vivek Oberoi starrer, Zila Ghaziabad, has set up his own production house, Anand Kumar Productions. The first film to come out of his stable will be Desi Kattey, a drama set in a small town near Kanpur, and is about two boys who work in a katta (desi gun) factory. "Both the boys are sharp shooters who are trained by a pistol shooting coach played by Suniel Shetty. The boys (one becomes a criminal and the other a national sharp shooter) will be played by two star kids, but I cannot reveal their names as their families want to announce them in a big way. The film will be shot in Mumbai,Delhi and Kanpur," said Kumar who will be going on floor with the project in the first week of October. The gun used in James Bond film will be used in this film.Prithipal Singh Bedi told us that Suniel is fit and sports person so he will not take more time to get perfect look as a coach in film.

Sonakshi Sinha to play a Bengali Woman in Bullett Raja!!

Learns Traditional Bengali Folk Dance for her role!

This Bollywood beauty has always charmed the audiences with her simplicity and and is back again with Bullett Raja, to woo her fans. This time, she will be seen in never seen before avatar. Sonakshi will be seen as a BONG beauty.
For her role in the film, Sonakshi has left no stone unturned and is going all out. She will be seen performing a Bengali folk dance called ‘Jhumur dance’. This is typical Bengali dance and is practiced all over West Bengal.

Sonakshi will be seen as a true Bengali woman as she is wearing the quintessential red bordered saree, along with big red bindi on her forehead, gajrah in her hair and alta on her hands. 

When asked about the look Sonakshi Said, “This is for the second time; I am playing a Bengali girl. I have played a Bengali in Lootera, but that was drastically different, I was a 1950 Bengali Girl, who is a Zamindar's daughter. In Bullett Raja, I am playing a contemporary Bengali girl. I loved my look for the Bengali avatar. it gave me a very traditional feel. I wish the sequence we shot in that costume was a little longer, because I did not want to get out of it” 

 

And about the traditional dance, she added “I absolutely loved donning this look, there is a certain grace to it. Once I was in it everyone was shocked at how bengali I looked. The jhumur is a beautiful feminine traditional dance, and Brinda mam being so good at what she does taught me really well!'
