The showman of the Indian film industry, Subhash Ghai makes his entry in the Punjabi cinema with “Double Di Trouble” under the big banner- Mukta Arts

The show goes on – but this time for the Punjabi film Industry, The lens man of Bollywood who gave us hit films like Karz, Pardes and taal is now venturing in the Punjabi film Industry. Subhash Ghai, The Showman of the Indian film Industry is producing a Punjabi flick ‘Double di trouble’ ( under his banner Mukta Arts).

Double di trouble is Smeep Kang’s direction (Smeep kang claim to fame is Carry On Jatta), The film is on a pre-production stage and it will be out in the cinema’s soon.

The film is based on Comedy of Errors, where Shakespeare's well known play would take a desi avatar when a father-son pair discovers their mirror images in a different city. The riot of laughter begins when the people around this duplicate duo keep confusing between the two! The situation gets further confounded when the duo tries to put its own logic behind the new faces behaving like old pals.  Hold your horses before you jump to conclusions. This is one of the morals of the film.
For the rest, come and die with laughter and witness the legendary Dharmendra's first full-fledged foray in a Punjabi film alongside the reigning superstars, Gippy Grewal, Minisha Lamba, Ragini Khanna and ever loving comedian Gurpreet Ghuggi.

Double di trouble is a homecoming Punjabi project for man with a Golden heart – Dharmendra, and also pulchritudinous damsel- Poonam Dhillon would be seen after a long time. The movie promises to have the choicest favourite veteran actors of the audience, who’ll be stealing the show right away.  With such an enriched cast, the movie will hook the audience back.

C.I.D remains an all-time favourite with 7048 TVT; beats 24!

 

Sony Entertainment Television’s longest running and immensely popular crime series ‘C.I.D’ has re-established it's pole position last week, as the most-watched show among Hindi GEC’s, by garnering a thumping 7048 TVT (in millions), comprehensively beating rival shows like ‘24’ which only garnered 3134 TVT. This statistic makes CID among the topmost shows on Indian television last week. This episode reached across 962 Avg audiences, unseating the premiere of the much marketed '24', the Indian adaptation of the international format. It’s time to welcome the Bhoot

The first episode of Sony Entertainment Television’s horror show “Bhoot Aaya” revolves around the story of a smart, popular and enterprising boy of the neighborhood. A lady’s man and every girl had an eye on him, but he was least interested in any of them. He had to move to different towns to pursue his further studies. After a period of two years he returned to his home town and suddenly fell ill. This uncertain sickness deteriorates this man into a disheveled, unkempt and a depressive young man.  Things continue to become worse and he keeps losing all important opportunities and occasions of his life like a great job opportunity and a marriage proposal. In the course of time the boy and his family realize that he is under the spell of a spinster woman. This woman died a few months ago and her dead body was found in a highly decomposed state after a few days. The boy’s birth charts explains that he is in a Mahadasha. He was at its most destructive ebb where the person is open to all kinds of metaphysical threats and attacks. The boy was being attacked by no ordinary spirit, but a spirit who had studied and practiced black magic. And the worst part was that the boy’s Mahadasha would end only after 7 years’. His planets also do not have any control over this circumstances. 

Will this boy be able to get rid of this bad spell?

Sunny's Singh Saab The Great comes with Hrithik's Krrish 3

Theatrical promo of Anil Sharma and Sunny Deol's next film together, Singh Saab The Great, would be unveiled along with Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik Roshan's Krrish 3. The decision was taken last week and even though almost a month remains for the 'event', work has already begun on putting together the promo cut.
Informs a source, "Official teaser of Singh Saab The Great was launched a month back and it has already fetched over half a million views online. The film is being rightly promoted as the coming together affair of Sunny Deol and Anil Sharma after Gadar (even though they have done The Hero and Apne in the interim period). After a 100 second teaser, the idea was to create a big 'dhamaka' with the theatrical promo. Since Krrish 3 is the biggest film in the coming weeks, it was imperative that Singh Saab The Great arrives alongside it." 
Though one hasn't heard stories of Hrithik Roshan and Sunny Deol in the same social or friend circle, especially considering the fact that former is selective and latter is almost a recluse when it comes to B-Town gatherings, the turn of events could well be a euphoric moment for Gadar fans who have been waiting with bated breath to see the director-actor 'jodi' in action all over again. 
Confirms Anil Sharma, "Yes, our film's promo would be coming along with Krrish 3. I am in the process of putting something really 'dhamakedaar' for the audience." 
However, before that, he would also be bringing to screen Sonu Nigam rendered title song of Singh Saab The Great. 
"Yes, that would be out by this weekend. It is a special song indeed," says Sharma before signing off
