The first look trailer of Balaji Motion Pictures and Pritish Nandy Communications’ Shaadi Ke Side Effects to be attached to Krrish 3!

Audiences at the theatres will soon be treated to the first look trailer of one of the most awaited movies of 2014, Balaji Motion Pictures and Pritish Nandy Communications’ Shaadi Ke Side Effects starring Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan as it will be attached to superhero franchise Krrish 3, which hits theatres on November 1, 2013 .
The theatrical trailer of the film, directed by Saket Chaudhary ,was debuted amidst a packed house yesterday, with audiences laughing off their seats courtesy an innovative "Battle of the Sexes" themed event. The highlight being a spirited debate between the leads of the shaadicom (aka shaadi comedy) Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan who play Sid and Trisha in the film.

Krrish 3 , third time lucky for Priyanka Chopra ?

As the superhero entertainer Krrish 3 hits theaters tomorrow , actress and international artist Priyanka Chopra couldn't been more excited given her longstanding equation with the Krrish franchise.

A day away from its release,market and trade sources are already speculating if the film will turn out to be third time lucky for Priyanka Chopra especially since her last two films with Hrithik Roshan - Krrish and Agneepath hit the jackpot at the box office ,giving rise to a flawless track record.

Says Priyanka Chopra, "I feel like some of my greatest and biggest work has been with Hrithik starting with Krrish , followed by Agneepath ,both of which have been huge milestones in both our careers.I'm extremely proud of Krrish 3 and also emotionally connected to it especially since Rakeshji and Hrithik has always involved me in the creative process.I hope audiences enjoy this film and give it as much love as the previous ones."

Jagat Singh gets into the character of Devdutt in Spice Studio`s and Zee TV’s Buddha

 

Jagat Singh, who plays the character of Devdutt in Dr. BK Modi’s Buddha was recently required to enact a scenewhere he has to appear intoxicated while chasing a courtesan. The actor who was recently seen in Prakash Jha’s Satyagraha, took to sipping wine throughout the shoot so he would be in the right mood to play the scene and justify the character as well as to add authenticity to his performance. Jagat’s efforts were awarded when the remaining castand crew were left impressed by his dedication and one-shot performance on the set. The shows writer Prakash Kapadia, compared his performance to that of Shah Rukh Khan during Devdas, which in fact was also his inspirationwhile building the character of Devdutt. 

The scene was shot at the Rang Mahal, which is a lavish and expensive set spread over 12000 sq. ft. The scene showscourtesans dressed in rich and colourful attires wearing exquisite and expensive jewelry. The makers of the show have shown meticulous care and every little detail was given attention, so much so that the 30 courtesans shown in the scene selected after a series of auditions, even though they are mere background characters.

Coincidentally, the screenplay of Devdas was written by Kapadia himself and SRK himself used to drink on the sets of the movie to get into the character of the ill-fated lover. Additionally, the location used for Rang Mahal for the show, used to be also the set where Devdas was shot as well. 

Buddha is produced by Dr. BK Modi’s Spice Studios and is aired on Zee TV and Doordarshan on Sundays at 11.00am. The show’s 9^th episode is set to air on Sunday, October 27^th.

Supergroup formed to create music for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2

MEMBERS INCLUDE PHARRELL WILLIAMS, JOHNNY MARR, MICHAEL EINZIGER, AND DAVE STEWART
CULVER CITY, Calif., October 31, 2013 – Oscar®- and Grammy-winning composer Hans Zimmer will work with Pharrell Williams, Johnny Marr, Michael Einziger, and Dave Stewart to create music for The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, it was announced today by Lia Vollack, president of Worldwide Music for Sony Pictures.  The film, directed by Marc Webb from a screen story and screenplay by Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci & Jeff Pinkner based on the Marvel Comic Book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, is produced by Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach.  The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be released in theaters domestically on May 2, 2014, and international release dates commence April 16, 2014.

Commenting on the announcement, Zimmer said, “Marc and I were talking about Spider-Man, and as the word got out, so many of our friends and musicians started calling us up, wanting to be a part of it, because they love Spider-Man.  That was the thing that united all of us – the great love for Spider-Man.  With all of these hugely talented people wanting to join us, it was Marc who said, ‘Why not start a band?’ Marc and I have had a great start jamming with everybody, and we still have a few surprises up our sleeve.”

Vollack added, “This kind of collaboration is only possible because of who Marc Webb is – not only a director but also a musician – combined with who Hans is and what Spider-Man means to so many people.  Nobody has ever approached film music in this way before and this likely can never be replicated.  We’re huge fans of Hans, Pharrell, Johnny, Mike, and Dave, and when combined, we know the result will be truly unique… and amazing!”Zimmer, a nine-time Oscar® nominee and winner for his work on The Lion King, previously collaborated with Williams on the film Despicable Me, as Williams produced four original solo songs and several other character-sung pieces.  They later collaborated on the music for the 84th Annual Academy Awards®.  Marr played on Zimmer’s score for the hit film Inception, Einziger played on his score for The Lone Ranger, and Stewart played with Zimmer on the score for Madagascar 3.

'Shahbaz Khan and Jaya Bhattacharya mentoring new Akbar to learn Urdu'

Arish Bhiwandiwala who plays the role of Akbhar in Sony Entertainment Television’s Bharat Ka Veer Putra-Maharana Pratap has been at a learning spear. It is known that young Akbhar is trying hard to get the perfect fluencies in Urdu language and to help him in this Shahbaz  Khan and Jaya Bhattacharya is giving him special Urdu speaking classes.

Talking about it Arish says, I come from a Paris background, so my command over Urdu language is a little weak. When I got to know I am playing the role of young Akbar who comes from a strong Mughal family I thought it is essential for me to get the perfect language on Urdu language. I am really glad that I got the opportunity to get the chance to work with such talented and helpful actors like Shahbaz Khan and Jaya Bhattacharya who are mentoring me to learn Urdu.

Well it seems. Arish is walking at the lines of not only Hrithik Roshan but also Aamir Khan, believing in being a perfectionist.
