Shekhar Suman: ‘Heartless’ was a huge emotional experience for me’

Shekhar Suman, who made his acting debut opposite none other than Rekha in 'Utsav' will soon be making his directorial debut with a romantic medical thriller ‘Heartless’, says that the film is quite close to his heart as it is dedicated to his elder son Aayush, who passed away at the young age of 11 due to a heart ailment.

Talking about the film, Suman said, “In some ways, ‘Heartless’ has a slice of my heart in it.  The film was a huge emotional experience for me to direct and act with my son Adhyayan for the first time. He is a very sensitive and an intense actor.”

 Explains Shekhar, "The film is based on a never seen before phenomenon of 'anaesthesia awareness', a frightening state where in patients who are administered anaesthesia are conscious from within; they can see, hear and even experience pain while their body remains still"

Apart from Shekhar Suman and Adhyayan Suman, ‘Heartless’ also stars Deepti Naval, Madan Jain and Om Puri in pivotal roles. The film is set to release on 7th February 2014.

“Miss Tanakpur HAAZIR Ho”, is produced by Vinay Tiwari and written and directed by Vinod Kapri, who is currently managing editor at India TV. He also has 20 years of experience in journalism and also has flair of writing stories and film scripts besides news content. The film is based on real life scam, which depicts the political system as stale, obsolete and rotten.
The film is a comedy in tragedy and has been shot in Hapur. The film stars Annu Kapoor, Om Puri, Hrishita Bhatt, Rahul Bagga, Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Kamlesh Gill and Bhupesh pandya.
The USP of the film is MISS TANAKPUR .Who is in lead Role. It was really tough for Director Vinod Kapri to cast MISS TANAKPUR. Series of auditions went on throughout India to cast MISS TANAKPUR but finally MISS TANAKPUR was found in Remote village of northern India.

The film revolves around a real life incident where the innocent protagonist “Arjun”- played by Rahul Bagga, is accused and dragged in an endless battle, where police, judge, court and lawyers, the pillar of democracy are very much there, but unable to distinguish between truth and lies, as their perspective of success and justice is different. The film will showcase entire system trying to prove impossible and sheepish allegations that will tick the funny bone in audiences.
The film is an inspiration for director Vinod Kapri, as the film is based on real life incident happened in western part of India. With this genre, the director aims to expose the political system prevailing in the country. The film is scheduled to be shot for 40 days in Hapur. The film has already gone on floors with its first schedule started on 25^th October 2013.
“Miss Tanakpur Hazeer Ho”, is written and directed by Vinod Kapri, who has shot more than 100 documentaries like “13^th December Parliament Attack” and “26^th November Mumbai Attack”. The film is produced by Vinay Tiwari, Music is rendered by Manish Sharma, and 18 year old young talented Palash Muchal, and Lyrics are penned by Neelesh Mishra (of Barfi, “Agent Vinod”, “Ek Tha Tiger” fame. Cinematography is handled by Yogesh Jani (of “Shaheb Biwi aur Gangster” Returns fame).
