‘Heartless’ Trailer Crosses One Million Views In A Day

ShekharSuman’s directorial debut ‘Heartless' trailer was recently launched amidst much fanfare by Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, at an event in Mumbai. Big B was all praise for the film’s theatrical trailer as he expressed, "Shekhar keh tho rahe hain ki unhone pehli baar nirdeshan kiya hai lekin abhi abhi jo humne dekha, use dekh kar aisa nahi lagta ki yeh kisi debutant director ka kaam hai."

And now, the audience too has given double thumbs up to the first look of the movie.

The trailer was unveiled on November 13 and within a day of its release it has crossed over a million views on YouTube.

Heartless is the story of a rebel heart - Its desire, its dilemma, its magnificent resurrection. This romantic thriller deals with the medical phenomenon of ‘anaesthesia awareness’ and it’s intriguing and fresh storyline has bowled over the audiences.

‘Heartless’, which is Shekhar’s tribute to his elder sonAayush who passed away due to an incurable heart disease, will feature his younger son AdhyayanSuman in the lead role and the movie will also mark the debut of ArianaAyam.

The Sumans who have staked their all on that one conviction- ‘We Can and We Will Succeed…Against All Odds’, are thankful to the audience for their love, support and the huge positive response they are receiving.

YASH RAJ FILMS ONCE AGAIN TOTALLY VINDICATED IN CASE FILED BY AJAY DEVGN FILMS

                 COMPETITION APPELLATE TRIBUNAL DISMISSES CASE

It is befitting that The Competition Tribunal dismissed the appeal filed by ADF against the order of the Competition Commission exactly a year since Jab Tak Hai Jaan released on 13^th November 2012.

After the COMPETITION COMMISSION had dismissed the complaint filed by AJAY DEVGN FILMS (ADF) on the basis that they were of the opinion that there was no contravention of the Act in this case, the COMPETITION APPELLATE TRIBUNAL, in a order of 8^th November 2012, also refused to pass any interim order against YASH RAJ FILMS (YRF) on the ground that the complainant had not put forward sufficient facts to establish that YRF had violated the Competition Act.

A completely misleading press release was put out by ADF alleging that an enquiry had been set up to look into ‘the anti-competitive activities of YRF’ since the Competition Appellate Tribunal had not found any merit in the contention of ADF because the Tribunal was of the view that ADF had totally failed to establish that the agreements entered into by YRF with the single screens cinemas would cause any appreciable adverse effect on competition. It was also noted by the Tribunal that YRF had announced the release of its film on 27^th June 2011 with its announcement of the release of its film for Diwali 2012 and commenced booking of single screen theatres in June, July & Aug 2012. On the contra, ADF announced the release of its film only on 29th May 2012 and approached the single screen owners only in October 2012 by which time YRF had taken a lead. It was expressly noted that the number of screens contracted for JAB TAK HAI JAAN, being far less than that of EK THA TIGER, prima facie no case of adverse effect on competition, much less appreciable effect on competition, was made out.

Despite several media queries at that time, YRF had maintained a strict media silence while the matter was pending before the competent judicial authorities, deeming it inappropriate to comment on the matter while it was before the judicial authorities. YRF has never desired nor manipulated such unethical publicity as a film promotional device for itself.

It is unfortunate that our refusal to comment had led to aspersions being cast on YRF’s business practises, which have always been ethical and of the highest standards.

On 13^th November 2013, after considering and dismissing individually all the points raised by the Appellant, AJAY DEVGN FILMS (ADF), the Honourable Chairman, Justice V. S. Sirpurkar and the other Honourable Members of the Coram, Shri Rahul Sarin & Mrs. Pravin Tripathi, concluded that “there is no merit in this appeal and this appeal must be dismissed”.

Let’s put to rest once and for all that YRF has, and will always, adopt the best business practices… and will continue to do so, jab tak hai jaan!

The Dosti Behind Don’t Touch My Body song from Bullett Raja!!

We have heard a very heartwarming story behind Bullett Raja’s latest track- Don’t Touch My Body that features sizzling Mahie Gill! Even as Sajid Wajid’s number is fast becoming a rage, not many know that the tune of the song was actually created almost 7 years back! 

It so happened, Tigmanshu roped in Sajid Wajid for a film in 2006. Due to some technicalities the film was never made and got shelved eventually but Sajid Wajid promised him that they will keep the music they composed,reserved for their collaboration in future.

Meanwhile, Tigmanshu once again approached Sajid Wajid, this time for Bullett Raja. He had forgotten about the incident but the duo shocked him by telling that they had kept the music intact! And that’s how Don’t Touch My Body was born.  

It is amazing how Sajid Wajid, who could have easily used the chartbusting tune for a number of big films they worked on, kept it reserved for Tishu.

 Naturally, the filmmaker is filled with gratitude towards Sajid Wajid for their gesture and can be heard telling his friends that this one act of Sajid Wajid is one of the finest examples of exemplary friendship in the industry!

Daya to slip in coma in CID

One day, the CID team is on their way to a small outstation weekend break when a small incident in a road halts all their plans. They see a woman who is crossing the road with a paper bag suddenly feels suffocated for breath and it seems like an Asthmatic attack. Cops rush to her aid and try to help her. Daya takes the bag from her hand and he thinks she is pointing towards it. He just bundles it in his car and rushes back to the woman. 

The young woman is rushed to the hospital but she dies over there due to internal poisoning. To cops’ shock, they are told that the young woman was a human bomb, and the explosives poison killed her. Cops decide to unravel the mystery of the same. That night, Daya recalls the paper bag and gets it from his car. Daya finds a wooden box and he is stunned to see what is inside it. But before he can react, there is an explosion in his house and the wooden box gets stolen from his house. 

The CID team is shocked and traumatized by Daya’s accident even though he survives it – he has slipped into a coma.  The cops decide to decode the mystery of the dead woman and the mystery wooden box. And somewhere out there, the wooden box has reached the mystery woman  - and the box is going to decide the  fate of six men and six places. 

What does the wooden box contain?

Will Daya ever regain consciousness and open the secret of the crucial wooden box?
