Kangana Ranaut wows in a Parisian Dior gown !

Kangana Ranaut, Bollywood's poster girl for fashion, recently proved her love for all things beautiful when she got herself an expensive gown worth a whopping Rs. 5 lakhs all the way from the European fashion capital Paris to wear at an event in Mumbai.

A source close to the actress says, “She wanted to wear a gown, one of those delicate ones, and was particularly keen on this one, which had to be worn with a lot of care. So much so, that the designer label had sent her instructions on how to drape the satin creation. The gown is apparently worth Rs. 5 lakh and was specially made for her,given her close association with the brand.”

Confirming the news Kangana says, “I was hesitant to wear the gown as it was just a drape, which had to be held with the body postures and had no other support in the back or front. The brand sent it to me from Paris and I liked it a lot.”

Osama Bin Laden’s Pakistan Hideout Re-created In Mumbai For ‘Tere Bin Laden 2'.

Director Abhishek Sharma, who made his directorial debut with the political satire ‘Tere Bin Laden’, is back with the sequel of the film Walkwater Media’s ‘Tere Bin Laden 2’ that promises to be bigger and better than the 2010 sleeper hit.Buzz has it that the makers re-created Pakistan in Mumbai for the film!

Abhishek Sharma has re-created Abbottabad, the Pakistani district where Osama bin Laden was found and killed by American Special Forces on May 2, 2011. The set has been erected by production designer Wasiq Khan in Mumbai’s Film City and reportedly, the production team did extensive research to create the Pakistani suburb in Mumbai, getting specific details about the house and the environment. 

If that wasn’t all , the makers also used VFX technology to create a Black Hawk, a chopper used by the Navy SEALs during Laden's assassination,similar to the one used in Kathryn Bigelow’s Oscar-nominated Hollywood thriller ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ . Says Abhishek Sharma , “We only had a rough sketch of the chopper which was leaked to the media by the American officials, as our reference points. The film is a comic satire and does not look to offend”.

Starring Manish Paul, Sikandar Kher and Pradhuman Singh (who will reprise his role as the Osama lookalike), Walkwater Media's ‘Tere Bin Laden 2’, directed by Abhishek Sharma is scheduled to release next year.

Bullett Raja continues its Box Office Run. Notches 27.05 Cr Domestic Net

Tigmanshu Dhulia’s action entertainer Bullett Raja  has notched up a figure of 3.75 crore domestic net on Monday, taking its 4 day total to 27.05 Cr, thereby sustaining its weekend hold over the box office.

Monday collections are a critical barometer to test a film’s run at the box office and Bullett Raja passed that comfortably by registering a normal drop over Friday figures.  The film which hit the screens on 29^th November, Friday is dominating the screens in the Northern Belt especially in the territories of UP and Delhi.

The audiences are absolutely loving the rogue and charming character played by Saif Ali Khan touting it to be one of his best performances.The film has all the right ingredients to entertain the audiences opened to critical acclaim. The fresh pairing of Saif Ali Khan & Sonakshi Sinha is being well appreciated by the audiences, with the strong and critically performances by Jimmy Shergill, Raj Babbar, Gulshan Grover, Ravi Kishen, Chunky Pandey and Vidyut Jamwal
