Pictures and Contiloe Entertainment is all set to make mall-hopping a
scary experience for audiences with their upcoming horror flick ‘Darr At
The Mall’, which stars Jimmy Shergill, Nushrat Bharucha, Arif Zakaria,
Asif Basra, Nivedita Bhattacharya, Shraddha Kaul, Neeraj Sood and other
actors.
The
film is a first of its kind Bollywood film, which has chosen a mall as
the backdrop for a horror story. Talking about the film, NP Singh, the COO of Multi Screen Media Pvt. Ltd. says, "We
have teamed up with Contiloe Entertainment for the first time and we
are quite glad about this partnership as Contiloe has been a leading TV
production house for horror shows over the years. The horror genre has
made something of a comeback in recent times and Darr At The Mall is the
kind of film, which belongs to the new age wave because of its
narrative and technology, which matches upto international standards.
Pawan Kripalani proved his mettle as a director with ‘Ragini MMS’ while
Jimmy Shergill is a talented actor apart from which, the film also has a
lot of fresh talent and we could not have asked for a better team of
people for making this film.”
Talking about the
film, director Pawan Kripalani (who made his directorial debut with the
highly successful ‘Ragini MMS’) says, “Malls are very accessible and
public places, which are usually full of people having a great time.
However, the same mall can be an eerie place at nights when all the
shops are closed and the lights are switched off. This is what we have
captured in the film.”
Jimmy
Shergill, who plays the protagonist, a mall security personnel in the
film, says, “I usually enjoy watching horror flicks or films with any
kind of thriller element and when this script came to me, I was so
engrossed in it because of the detailing that I simply could not turn it
down. This is the kind of film that has never been attempted before in
Bollywood.”

2014.

एम्.एस.एम् मोशन पिचर्स और कंटिलो एंटरटेनमेंट इन्होने साथ मिलकर मॉल के
इर्दगिर्द कि कहानी है जो दर्शको को डराने के लिए फ़िल्म 'डर एट द मॉल' ले
कर आ रहे है। इस फ़िल्म के सितारे है अभिनेता जिम्मी शेरगिल, अभिनेत्री
नुसरत भरुचा तथा सहकलाकार आरिफ ज़कारिआ ,निवेदिता भट्टाचार्य, श्रद्धा कौल,
नीरज सूद और अन्य कलाकार शामिल है।
यह फ़िल्म इस प्रकार कि पहली बॉलीवुड कि फ़िल्म होगी जिसमे मॉल के इर्दगिर्द घूमती एक डरावनी हॉरर स्टोरी होगी।
इस फ़िल्म के निर्देशक पवन कृपलानी कहते है " (जिन्होंने बतौर
निर्देशक अपना डेब्यू फ़िल्म रागिनी एम्.एम्.एस जैसी हिट फ़िल्म से किया था)
मॉल एक ऐसी जगह है जहा हर को आता है कुछ अछा समय बिताने आते है ,दिन के
वक्त मॉल हमेशा ही लोगो से भरा हुआ होता है लेकिन जब सब लोग निकल जाते है
मॉल एक दम सुना होजाता है सारी लाइट्स बंद हो जाती है तब एक घना अँधेरा छा
जाता है तब इस दौरान अँधेरे में जो घटनाये होती है वही इस फ़िल्म में
फिल्माया गया है।
'डर एट द मॉल'इस फ़िल्म के मुख्य नायक जिम्मी शेरगिल कहते है"में इस
फ़िल्म में सिक्यूरिटी वाले का किरदार निभा रहा हु औरस मैने हमेशा ही हॉरर
फिल्मो को देखता हु एन्जॉय करता हु और इस तरह कि हॉरर थ्रिलर स्क्रिप्ट आयी
तो पूरी जानकारी लेते हुए यह फ़िल्म को करनी है यह मन बनालिया। इस तरह कि
फ़िल्म बॉलीवुड में पहली बार तैयार हो रही है और इससे पहले किसने यह कोशिश
नहीं कि है।
