Kangana Ranaut pens dialogues for Queen.

While Kangana Ranaut has wowed audiences and critics alike with her performances over the years, the actress stepped into the dialogue writer’s seat as she penned a couple of dialogues for Viacom Motion Pictures & Phantom Films’ Queen directed by Vikas Bahl.
Given that Kangana plays a small town girl in the film , there was a reel life-real life connect which inspired the actress to contribute towards the dialogues.
Confirming the news says director Vikas Bahl, “I like it when characters find their own language in the film. That’s why, as Kangana got more into the character, I wanted her to have lines that came naturally to her”.
Says Kangana, “I have to talk like a real person and I have to be candid because I play the part of a shy, sheltered and submissive girl, who is very protected by her family”.
Says Rudrarup Dutta, Head of Marketing and Creative , Viacom 18 Motion Pictures , "When Kangna heard the script she just feel in love with the character of Rani, she could relate completely to her world, emotions and innocence. Kangana’s inputs on the dialogues have really enhanced the impact of the story and made Rani’s personality come alive ."
Viacom Motion Pictures & Phantom Films’ Queen directed by Vikas Bahl is scheduled to release 28th February 2014.

When ‘Yaariyan’ Male Leads Himansh Kohli And Shreyas Pardiwala Dressed Up As Women…

In the past, actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and recently, even Shahid Kapoor have dressed up as women for some scenes in their movies and in T-Series' ‘Yaariyan’, two of the three male leads Himansh Kohli and Shreyas Pardiwala too did a drag queen act in a hilarious sequence in the film.
A source attached to the film unit said, “Nicole and Rakul Preet in a funny sequence decide to sneak out for a pajama party under the pretext of attending a ‘Jagrata’. However, at the party, Rakul’s character Saloni gets drunk and Himansh and Shreyas are entrusted with the responsibility of dropping her home. This is when the two men dress up as women to drop Saloni back home and when confronted by her skeptical dad, the two start singing the ‘ABCD’ song (which was played at the pajama party) in the manner ‘Jagrata’ bhajans are sung, with hilarious consequences.
Talking about the sequence, Himansh said, “It was quite a funny sequence and though initially, we were reluctant to dress up as women, we decided to deal with the situation sportingly.” Shreyas Padriwala too chuckled when he recalled the scene and said, “It is one of the craziest scenes in the film and am sure everyone will laugh till their sides hurt when they see this sequence in the theatres.”
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, ‘Yaariyan’, that marks the directorial debut of Divya Khosla Kumar, is a contemporary and youthful film that takes audiences through the trials and tribulations of the best years of their life abd is slated to release on January 10.

Indian Television will soon witness a grand royal wedding of Rajveer and Nandini. The wedding on Sony Entertainment Television's political saga 'Desh Ki Beti Nandini' is going to be one royal affair with ace designer Riyaz Gangji designing the wedding costumes for the gorgeous couple.
The intricately designed Lehenga made for the Raghuvanshi family’s daughter-in-law Nandini costs a whooping Rs. 75 lakhs. The Lehenga and Sherwani are the highlights as it almost took 3 months to craft them as  they have been adorned with fresh white water pearls and Zardosi. While to create the impact of cutwork, the fabric has been hand cut. The style of the Sherwani and the Lehenga is iconic and it's practically possible to find these pieces only in the museums of Jaipur. The Sherwani's are specially created to be worn while riding a horse or an Elephant. These cuts are what actual Maharajas’ and Maharanis’ used to wear during their high profile weddings.
Speaking about the costumes, Riyaz Gangji said, "This is probably one of the best works of my wife Reshma and team Libas and the result is there for everyone to see. The rich quality of these handcrafted costumes have never been seen before on Indian television screens and it will be remembered for a long time."
While for Kirti Nagpure who plays Nandini had just one thing to say, “I feel like a true rajkumari and this is definitely a dream wedding for Nandini!” and Rafi who plays Rajveer was truly mesmerized by his brides beauty and could only say, “I am speechless.”
Here's wishing Rajveer and Nandini a very happy married life.
