2013 Bhojpuri Film Awards celebrates Bhojpuri Cinema with great pride!

 
2013 has been a fabulous year for the Bhojpuri
Cinema  there couldn’t be any other platform to celebrate this cinema than
2013 Bhojpuri Awards. It is for the first time that the awards were held in
the heart of Bhojpuri Cinema – Lucknow at Dayal Royal Club.  The fact that
politicians came all out to support the awards ceremony says a lot about
this mega event. Congress Leader Rashid Alvi, Samajwadi Party Minister Shiv
Pratap Yadav, Kunwar Virendra Pratap (Laked)  Vinod Gupta, Founder -
President of Bhojpuri Film Awards lit the auspicious lamp on the stage
following which the glamorous event kick started.
Hosts Dinesh Lal Yadav “ Nirahua” and Risabh Kashyap entertained the
audience with their funny acts and camaraderie.  The Best Actor - Male
award was presented to Dinesh Lal Yadav “ Nirahua” for his stupendous
performance in movie Ek Duuje Ke Liye while the Best Actor – Female award
was given to Rani Chaterjee for her mind blowing role in Nagin.  Film Ek
Duje Ke liye was adjudged as 2013’s Best Bhojpuri Film. The award ceremony
also recognized some rare talent Special Awards were given to Malini
Awasthi.  Other stars like Kunika Lal, Anupam Shyam of Agle Janam mohe
Bitiya Hi Kijo, Surendra Pal, Kunal Singh, Poonam Dubey



The most entertaining night of Bhojpuri cinema was completed with lots of
dance and masti. Item queens Seema Singh sizzled on various Bhojpuri Hit
numbers while Sambhavna Seth danced to the tunes of Aa re Preetanm Pyaare
and Rinku Ghosh performed with Dinesh Lal Yadav. Raji Chaterjee sizzled on
her hit number from movie Sasura Bada Paisawala. Top Bhojpuri stars like
Dinesh lal Yadav and Pankaj Keshri set the stage on fire with their killer
dance moves. Manoj tiger entertained audience with his funny acts

Shemaroo Entertainment releases the music of “Dedh Ishqiya” on its own label

Shemaroo Entertainment has released the music of “Dedh Ishqiya” on its own label. “Dedh Ishqiya” has some very melodious and memorable tracks which offer immense promise and Shemaroo Entertainment has decided to retain the music rights of the same, betting on the long term business potential. Shemaroo, with a strong presence across major distribution platforms, is all set to leverage the music of “Dedh Ishqiya” on all possible media including digital, television, radio & others.
 

Dedh Ishqiya’s cast includes Madhuri Dixit, Arshad Warsi, Naseeruddin Shah, and Huma Qureshi in the lead roles. The movie has six songs & the two recently released songs from the movie, “Humari Atariya”, sung by Rekha Bhardwaj and “Dil Ka Mizaaj Ishqiya”, sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan have already amassed immense popularity on online & television platforms for their sheer melody & magic. The music of “Dedh Ishqiya” is composed by Vishal Bhardwaj himself and the lyrics are penned down by Gulzar Sahab. The music delivered by the talented duo is at its melodious best & catchy.

Sachin Gupta & Vasundhara Das release music of ‘Paranthe Wali Gali’

 

Sachin Gupta released the music of his forthcoming film ‘Paranthe Wali Gali’ in Mumbai in the presence of Vasundhara Das, Anuj Saxena, Neha, Prabhakar Srinet, Joi Barua and the students of NM College. Students cheered Vasundhara & Joi Barua when they rendered two songs live for them. “I have been able to give this kind of music because after narrating the story Sachin gave me complete independence,” says Vasundhra who is making her debut as a music director with Paranthe Wali Gali.

Music Director of Paranteh Wali Gali is Vasundhara Das, while two songs are done by Vikram Khajuria. Singers are KK, Joi Barua, Siddharth Basrur, Jasraj Joshi, Tejas Shankar and Vasundhara Das. “She has given music that is complimenting the story and characters of the film. It is one of the very important features of my film and takes the narration ahead,” says Sachin Gupta.

Hindi feature film ‘Paranthe Wali Gali’ is the story of unsung love that blossoms in very famous lane of sizzling hot mouth watering paranthe in Delhi with the backdrop of theater.  Directed and produced by Sachin Gupta (theater stalwart & winner of National Award ‘Natya Bhushan’) and presented by Chilsag- Civitech Motion Pictures Production, film ‘Paranthe Wali Gali’ is coming to cinemas on 17 January 2014.

Co-Produced by Civitech, this Film showcases the real charm of Old Delhi and all the local areas from Dariba Kalan to Kinari Bazaar and Khari Bawri. Its star cast includes Anuj Saxena and debutant Neha in lead.

Stroll in Stars’ lanes: MTDC’s Bollywood Tourism offers a glimpse of maya nagari

Announces packaged tours starting from ONLY Rs.499/- to Rs 3,250 for tourists

The start-struck population of India will now have one more and quite a significant reason to visit the glamour city of Mumbai. Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation has come up with offering of packaged tours to Bollywood in association with Dadasaheb Phalke Chitra Nagri (Filmcity - Goregaon). There are three packages with different pricing to suite to the pockets which are Rs. 499, Rs 1,999 and Rs 3,250 respectively.

Dr Jagdish Patil, Managing Director, MTDC, said, “Bollywood is one of the biggest film industries in the world. People come from remote parts of India just to get a glimpse of their favorite film stars camping outside their homes and even wait for several days. With our new offering, we will take tourists not only around the residences of the stars but also on film and TV show’s sets. They can see live shooting and if lucky, spot the film stars on the sets.” Mr. Laxmikant Deshmukh, Managing Director of Film City (Goregaon) was also present during the announcement.

 

MTDC had floated EOI (Expression of Interest) for Bollywood Tourism inviting travel agents or proprietary firms to take up the operations and design packages for Economical low-end package, medium-end package and high-end package. Bollywood Tourism is a joint venture of Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation and Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari (Filmcity-Goregaon).

MTDC has assigned two agencies to operate Bollywood Tourism project on behalf of MTDC i.e. M/s MOS Utility Pvt. Ltd for Economical package and M/s Travelmartindia.com Pvt. Ltd for Medium and High-end packages.

Economical package will cost Rs 499 per person and tourists will be taken for a three hour guided bus tour in English and Hindi to Film City (Goregaon), where they will be shown various spots in Film City along with glimpses of shooting from the bus as well overview to Film/TV Serial set, they will be shared some interesting and unknown facts about Bollywood. The Ticketing can be booked online at  www.mumbaifilmcitytours.com and from 15,000+ outlets of MOS Utility Private Limited across India.

Medium-end package will cost Rs 1999 and the tourist will be given Bollywood on wheel experience known as Beverly Hills of Bandra. In addition to this, the tourist will be taken to film studios where a setup is created of Bollywood Gully walkthrough, Bollywood Museum, Bollywood Café, Bollywood costume gallery and Bollywood VFX Visual effects-experience. Tourists will be shown how special effects are used in Bollywood Blockbusters, tour of a television/film serial set and opportunity to witness live shoot and celebrity spotting.

High-end package comes at Rs 3250 in which besides all facilities of medium-end package additional offering is the visit to live shooting of Television soap sets in Film City.

Arshad & Soha Promoted the film Joe B. Carvalho in Delhi

Versatile actor Arshad Warsi with his beautiful co actress Soha Ali Khan recently visited Delhi at Hotel Le Meridian and promoted their upcoming film "Joe B. Carvalho".

This is the first time when Soha is working as opposite to Arshad Warsi and says,"Arshad is a very versatile actor and helped me a lot throughout the shooting of the film. I enjoyed working with 

 

Arshad in this Film". She also added, "My Role in the film of a dabangg cop. This is the first time when I am doing this kind of role for which i have worked hard and I hope people will like it"

The Film Joe B. Carvalho is a Comedy film directed by Samir Tewari and produced by Shital Malviya & Bholaram Malviya. The film also stars Javed Jaffrey & Vijay Raaz and is slated to be released on january 3, 2014.
