The evening witnessed the shower of the stars at the 20^th Lions Gold Awards in support of Thallesmia.

The night was to honour the contribution of eminent personalities from the field of Films, TV, Sports, Business, Medicine, NGO, etc.

The Breath - taking Performances at the prestigious award ceremony raised the heat of the evening. 

Ranveer Singh, Shraddha Kapoor, Sumeet Tappoo was awarded as the Emerging Soulful Singer of 2014, kavita kaushik, Aditi Rao Hydari,Kamya Punjabi, Anand Rai ,TP Agarwal,,Raju Srivastav, Rajpal Yadav, Ashka Goradia.

People from different walks of life came forward to support the cause, people from varied industry came forward in aid to spread Thallesmia awareness. The award ceremony saw the attendance of Salma Agha with Daughter Shasha,  Anil Sharma,Kavita Verma in a red gown, Nisha Sagar, Dheeraj Kumar, Satish Kaushik, etc.

Karan Johar adds an emotional touch to ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ through ‘Zehnaseeb’.

 Known to be creatively involved in projects both as a director and producer,Karan Johar this time around was keen on adding a signature emotional touch to Dharma Productions and Phantom Films' Hasee Toh Phasee with the romantic-melody Zehnaseeb.

Confirming the news, director Vinil Matthew said, “The song is called 'Zehnaseeb' and it has been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. It's an emotional song, which explores the beautiful moments between the lead actors Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra in the film. Karan was very keen on having this track in the album. Initially, Shekhar (Ravjiani) had sung the acoustic version as it was meant to be a solo number. But later we roped in Chinmayi Sripada to lend her voice too as we decided we wanted it to be a duet.”

A source attached to the film said, “The song 'Zehnaseeb' is very close to Karan's heart. He wanted it to be in the film and brainstormed with the director and music composer to devise it in a certain way. He also went to the studio when the song was being recorded as he was quite enthusiastic about the song."

Says producer Karan Johar, “'Zahnaseeb is one of the most feel good love songs I have heard...very few love songs have the melody...the lyrical value and the soul..this is that beautiful blend."

Director Divya Khosla Kumar choreographs 5 songs for Yaariyan.

Divya Khosla Kumar, who will be making her directorial debut with ‘Yaariyan’ has decided to take her film-making skills to a new level as she also choreographed 5 songs in the film including Baarish, Maa , Love me Thoda Aur, Allahwariyan and zor lagake.

The multi-talented Divya, who has directed music videos in the past, said, “The songs form a very integral part of the film and they take the story forward. The audience is loving my visualization in Baarish and Allah Wariya. If my work in the songs is being loved so much I'm sure by Gods grace the audience will love Yaariyan as much.The film will make you laugh and cry and leave you on a feel good note."

Adds producer Bhushan Kumar, “Divya has worked on Yaariyan with great precision and detail. Apart  from directing the film ,she has also tried her hand at choreography and we've received very encouraging reviews .Her shot taking is larger than life”.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar under the banner of T-Series Super Cassettes Industries Ltd, ‘Yaariyan’ starring Himansh Kohli, Rakul Preet, Dev Sharma, Nicole Faria, Shreyas Pardiwala is slated to release this Friday,10th January 2014.

Kangana Ranaut crowned PETA’s hottest vegetarian.

Beating the likes of her contemporaries, Kangana Ranaut was crowned “The Hottest Vegetarian” by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

Visitors to PETAIndia.com cast their votes to help PETA choose the most alluring Vegetarian Vixen this year and Bollywood’s poster girl for fashion took the top honor.

Says PETA India Manager of Media and Celebrity Projects Sachin Bangera, “Bollywood stars are truly shining for animals by choosing to go meat-free, and Kangana's beauty is proof that a great way to get a killer body and looks is by not eating animals”.

On several occasions Kangana has always been heard propagating the cause of vegetarianism and was even quoted stating, “We must not eat other animals. Besides, vegetarian organic food is far healthier minus all the toxins”.

PETA selected the winners based on several factors, including vote count.

After receiving rave reviews for her performance in Krrish 3,Kangana Ranaut is on a roll with Queen and Revolver Rani both of which see her essay the role of the protagonist.
