Saif and Ritiesh bond over paintings on the sets of Humshakals!!

Touted to be one of the most anticipated movies of 2014, Humshakals is all set to tickle our funny bones with the triple roles of Saif Ali Khan, Ritiesh Deshmukh and Ram Kapoor!

The versatile actors Saif Ali Khan and Ritiesh Deshmukh hit it off instantly while shooting in the beautiful locales of England and bonded over paintings too!

Yes! You read it right the long shooting schedule in Mauritius and London which went on for a couple of months, gave both the actors quite a lot of time to spend on and off the sets!

“Saif and Ritiesh are very passionate about paintings. They would wrap up the shoot in time so that their in the evenings the duo could go for shopping of paintings in London. Apart from discussing about the movie scripts and having fun on the sets with the crew, the two were also seen discussing about their love for paintings!!” a source said from the production team.

Humshakals stars Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Ram Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Tamannaah and Esha Gupta.

Mallika Sherawat to inaugurate CII Pavilion at Cannes

Bollywood diva Mallika Sherawat is all set to add another feather to her cap. She will inaugurate Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Pavilion at Cannes this year. The actor will be a part of the inaugural session ‘Indian Cinema: Opportunities & Synergies with Global Cinema’.

Mallika will be gracing the session as a speaker along with H.E. Mr. Arun Kumar Singh, Indian Ambassador to France and Mr Ashok Amritraj, Hollywood Producer & Chairman, CII Cannes Initiative. The session will also include the likes of Mr. Resul Pookutty, Oscar winning Sound Designer, Mr Jerome Paillard, Executive Director, Marche Du Film, Ms Aditi Das Rout, Director General, Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC) and Mr. Sudhir Mishra, Film Maker.

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for the twelfth consecutive year, will co-ordinate the participation of producers, film makers and States of  India at the Cannes Film Market from 14 – 23 May 2014. Indian state governments, film makers and services experts will be part of the booth space and CII’s aim is to get maximum business for the Indian Media and Entertainment industry by facilitating global opportunities. This will be Mallika Sherawat's 5th year at the Cannes film festival. The actor will soon be seen in CBS hit series Hawaii Five-O.

COWARD at Cannes

Marking his excellence on small screen, actor Gautam Gulati of Diya Aur Bati fame gears up to make his debut at Cannes Film Festival with screening of his release COWARD (DARPOK)  scheduled to be held at France from 14^th – 25^th May ’14.

Unlike his contemporary actors Gautam Gulati from a household name went on to exhibiting his acting skills on the international platform with the screening of his release COWARD (DARPOK) - Rakesh Mehta at Cannes Film Festival.

Confirming the news actor Gautam Gulati says “Yes, I am starring in COWARD (DARPOK) and going to France to attend the screening of the movie. I feel accolade to be a part of this film, this is a perfect inception for me to invade in movies”

He started off his journey as an actor with the experience of mastering in theater from Mandi House for a year. Leaving no stone unturned he also trained himself in dance from celebrated choreographer Shiamak Davar.

Speckled by Balaji Production House, he was spotted by Soup Opera queen, none other than Ekta Kapoor. Exploring his credentials, actor Gautam Gulati grabbed the golden chance and worked under the banner for 3 years where he became contempt and experienced every aspect of acting. Sighting the dedication and zeal he seizes he was chosen as “VIKRAM” in Diya aur Bati as he aptly suited the character. Going by his vast fan following he absolutely justified the character. He went on to become a house hold name and gathered fame and recognition from the India Soup Opera Diya Aur Bati Hum with the highest TRPs in their kitty.

Talking about his journey he say “I belong to a simple family back ground where we don’t have any association with Bollywood, but it was my passion for this art which made me pursue acting .As I never had a mentor or a God father to guide me through”.

After working and attaining recognition for 6 years, perhaps he made up his mind to work within the industry and learn this way through. KD Pathak to solve two mysterious murders in Sony TV’s Adaalat

Sony Entertainment Television’s courtroom drama Adaalat (Contiloe Telefilms) is back with yet some challenging cases this weekend.  In an old palace which is scheduled to get converted into a museum, legend has it that whoever takes the 16^th century celebrated dagger of Raj Kunwar Bundela out of its casket, will certainly meet death! Indeed, there is a murder in the palace and at the time of the murder, the cursed dagger was found missing from its cover. Is this a conspiracy or has the dagger broken into a killing spree on its own? How will KD resolve the mystery of the cursed dagger that can kill more people in the palace?

The next episode revolves around Ranjan Shastri, a young player is mysteriously murdered on the cricket pitch in the middle of the night. But nobody is seen entering the ground or leaving the stadium. Gaurav, Ranjan's friend and competitor is arrested by police with his bat, which is the suspected weapon of crime and is found at the site. Ranjan and Gaurav are seen fighting until a few hours ago and now he is seen bleeding to death.

How does KD entangle the mystery of the flying bat?
