Aalia Bhatt hosts special screening for Citylights

Mahesh Bhatt youngest daughter  Aalia Bhatt held a special screening of Hansal Mehta's City lights on Sunday evening for her family and friends along with Rajkummar Rao, Patralekha , director Hansal Mehta and Producer Mahesh Bhatt.
The actress was in for a complete surprise and was awestruck by Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha's performance in the film and couldn't stop praising the duo. The experience was overwhelming for Aalia and the movie left her speechless!
A source close to the team said , ' Aalia has been excited for this film since she has been hearing a lot about it from everyone. So the moment she came to know that the film is ready she requested if she could watch it. And she is extremely overwhelmed by the performances from everyone in the film.'
Well, with the screenings just begun we hope that the film does wonders.
CITYLIGHTS is based on the life of a trader in Rajasthan who comes to the City of Mumbai with his wife and daughter in hope of a better life. The challenges they face, their encounter with a big city and how they rise to meet those challenges nurtured by the power of their love is what Citylights is all about.
Releasing on 30th May, 2014, CITYLIGHTS will give the audiences an altogether new cinematic experience

Vikram Singh To Play A Baddie In Kannada Film ‘Rana Vikrama’

 Actor Vikram Singh, who has already played anti-hero roles in Telugu films and will be next seen playing the antagonist Rajjo Fauji in Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Heropanti’, which is directed by Sabbir Khan, will be soon making his Kannada debut. 
Singh will be seen playing the antagonist in Singh in Kannada film ‘Rana Vikrama’, which has been directed by hit film-maker Pavan Wadeyar and produced by Jayanna with Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar playing the protagonist.
Talking about the project, Singh said, “I am elated to be part of Rana Vikrama, as this is my first movie with Puneeth Rajkumar. I am aware of the legendry family of Puneeth and I consider myself lucky to debut in his movie. I was impressed with the characterization of the negative role and did not think twice after the director narrated me the story of Rana Vikrama.”

Delhi based actor Kavitta Verma created a stir with her very first debut on 70 mm screen opposite Sanjay Dutt in the film Policegiri dancing to the moves by Ganesh Acharya. Post the release, Kavitta coming from an army background started getting flooded with modeling assignments & ad commercials.

“The ramp gives me this rush, everything is live, spontaneous, and you have people looking at you with every step that you take, also you get to wear these chic & glamorous outfits. I totally love it & I’m considering to doing more of these shows.”

Changing her exercise routine drastically Kavitta quips, “As an actor, you are constantly required to look good but when it comes to being the showstopper, you need to be more fit, you need to do justice with the designer’s outfit. My trainer makes me do this rigorous workout, but it is all a part of my job.”
Kavitta Verma is currently reading few scripts & wants to see herself on the big screen soon but meanwhile she is enjoying walking the ramp.
