Encounter of aspiring actress 'Aashna'

This weekend Encounter gives its fan a double bonanza of entertainment, drama and action with Mahi Vij and Manini Mishra in the most distinctive roles. The episode will depict the tale of Aashna who runs away from her house to become the first woman gangster in the history of underworld. Aashna uses Bijoy, an underworld gangster as a ladder to achieve her dreams. Aashna’s aspirations come to an end when inspector Mita Gaikwad uses her strong networking which eventually leads to the encounter of Aashna.

Talking about her experience on portraying the character of Aashna, Mahi Vij, said “I am essaying the role of a female gangster popularly known as Aashna a first woman gangster in the underworld who is very strong headed and aspires to achieve a powerful life. My experience of shooting for Encounter has been lovely specially working with talented actors like Manini Mishra, Siraj Mustafa, Vinay Jain and Ali Hasan who have been in the industry from a long time. It was a great experience working together and I am sure the audience will love our work which we have put together.”

 

Commenting on her experience Manini Mishra said “I am essaying the role of Mita Gaikward who fights for women’s rights and plays an active role in fighting criminals. She is passionate, headstrong and courageous. The experience of shooting Encounter itself was very exciting and challenging. I also had the opportunity to work with my old friends Siraj Mustafa, Vinay Jain, Ali Hasan. I also found a new friend in Mahi Vij. I am absolutely thrilled to be playing such a powerful role and hope that it is liked by the audience as much as the show.”

Nicola Peltz, the leggy lass who will be next seen in Michael Bay’s colossal, Transformers: The Age of Extinction, was bewildered by a particular explosion scene on the sets. “Michael is like a kid; he likes cars and blowing things up” reminisces Nicola.  During filming the said scene director Michael Bay, to keep the shock value intact, decided to inform the actors just few moments before the actual shoot. Recalling the day Nicola says, “There was this huge explosion I’ll never forget. 10 minutes before the explosion Michael told us what we were going to do, which was to run from one place to another in 4.6 seconds. In these big action sequences – where you only have one take – your adrenaline takes over and you just go. And we could feel the heat on our backs, so we ran! It was crazy and fun. And I love it, because I’m always down to trying things.”

Distributed by Viacom18 Motion Pictures, Transformers: The Age of Extinction,  the film is slated to release on 27th June. The film will release in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
