‘Dark Tunnel- a known voyage to death’ 

Gurpreet Kaur Chadha of Punjabi Global Foundation organized Mumbai’s first premier of Dark Tunnel- a known voyage to death, the award winning movie in the Sikhnet Youth Film Festival; Jaspinder Narula was the chief guest for the show.

Dark Tunnel presented by Adol Passionates is a film based on drug addiction & Sikh way of life. Adol Passionates works towards upliftment of society through the medium of media by producing short/ feature films touching upon sensitive topics.
Gurpreet Kaur Chadha, founder of Punjabi Global Foundation took up the initiative of promoting a thought provoking movie & organized its first Mumbai premier attended by the members of the PGF foundation & many others from the Sikh community.
Jaspinder Narula was the chief guest for the preview; also present were Mansi Pritam, Ashoo Punjabi, Gunveen Singh, Surinder Aunty, and Surpreet Kaur. Gananay Chadha accompanied his mother Gurpreet Kaur Chadha to the movie preview. Dark Tunnel star casts Gunveen Singh, Harmeet Singh, and Milanpreet Singh.

Punjabi Global Foundation was founded by Ms. Gurpreet Kaur Chadha and other eminent members, who have been guide and teachers in their own way. It is to promote the rich cultural heritage of Punjab on national and international horizon.
The organization is dedicated to the preservation, promotion and dissemination of the rich Art and Cultural, Traditional Heritage of Punjab among the youth and new generations.

Bina Aziz brings back the magical musical evening; Music Mania presenting Jazz Blues Fusion with RAF, also celebrating Medha Jalota’s Birthday, spearheaded by Ghazal maestros Talat Aziz, Pankaj Udhas & Anup Jalota powered by Rotary watches; Gitanjali

The fever of  Music Mania strikes back with a whole new array of maestros performing live. The night was dedicated to Jazz Blues and Fusion with RAF. RAF (Rakesh and Friends) is a young group of extremely talented musicians namely Rakesh Chaurasia (Flute), Gino Banks (Drums), Satyajeet Talwalkar (Tabla), Sheldon D’Silva (Bass Guitar), Sanjoy Das (Guitar) and Sangeet Haldipur (Key Board) that presented live at Music Mania’s musical soiree celebrating Medha Jalota’s birthday.

Music Mania’s Jazz Blue Fusion with was an evening that presented RAF effectively blending Indian Classical Music with Global Music creating musical sound seldom heard.

Bina Aziz  looked lovely in a black Amy Billimoria's gown , the cake cutting was a happy and emotional moment, Anup Jalota and Medha looked gorgeous together in a black and white colour co-ordinated outfits, so was Bina and Talat Aziz in all black.

The musically mesmerizing evening saw the attendance of  Satish Kaushik, Ramesh Sippy and Kiran Sippy , Ila Arun, Harry & Sangeeta Singh, Kabeer Bedi & Parveen Dushanj, Hariharan, Runa Rizvi, Ravi Jain, Shaan & Radhika Mukherjee, Sulaiman Merchant, Leslie Lewis, Dr. Ruby Tandon, Dr. Mohiuddin Makani, Amy Billimoria, Zeba Kohli, Tanvi Azmi,  Arti Razdan, Prem Kishan, Sidharth Tak, Adnan Aziz, Tushar Jalota, Vasant Bhandari , Carlyta Mohini & many others.

The band RAF has performed at some prestigious festivals such as Jan Fest Kalaghoda arts festival, Taal Chakra in Pune and the group has also performed at the Cape Town Jazz festival which is the largest festival in Cape Town as the only Indian group representing India internationally & put up a brilliant show.

The nephew and disciple of Flute Maestro Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, Rakesh of RAF fame has undoubtedly made his mark as one of the finest young Flute Virtuoso. His excellence lies in playing the instrument played by Krishna i.e. the bamboo flute. - a night called to drown you in their mesmerizing music with jazz and fusion along with new talents for the evening as part of the ongoing new talent hunt with digital partner Artist Aloud .

Humshakals soaring at the box office!

 

The super entertainer Humshakals is unstoppable at the box office as the film has netted 76 crs GBO worldwide in just 4 days!

Humshakals rocked the domestic BO on its opening day as it became the third highest opener in 2014 after Jai Ho and Gunday. It shattered records over the weekend as the film grew every single day to record the 4th biggest opening weekend in 2014.

And to thank the media for the support, the team held a special evening for everyone.

Directed by Sajid Khan, Starring Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Ram Kapoor, Tamannah, Esha Gupta and Bipasha Basu, Humshakals has been lauded by families as an out-an-out entertainer. The film has been garnering good word of mouth from audiences which has made the film rake in the moolah.

Humshakals is made at a cost of 75cr including the P&A. Fox Star Studios and Vashu Bhagnani's Humshakals has already sold its satellite and music rights for 45cr which makes it a hugely profitable venture for the makers.

Vidya Jasoos in Gokuldham Society

Everybody knows that Gokuldham Society is holding its Cricket Tournaments and everybody is curious to know about the results. What better way than to send the most talked about Jasoos on location to get the name of the winner?

Yes we are talking about Vidya Balan who had come to promote her film on the sets and landed up becoming part of the ongoing GPL series in Gokuldham Society. But instead of trying to find the result, she was lured into dancing, eating and generally getting entertained by Daya and her gang of smart society women. Says Vidya, “I am a big fan of the show. Whenever I get the chance I watch it as stress buster. Its clean and its fun. In fact I wanted to come on the show to promote Ishqiya also but that didn’t happen. But now I am happy to be here.”  Looks like, it’s a mutual fan club because entire cast was extremely happy to interact with her.
