Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan is poised to take the small screen by storm with his upcoming finite series YUDH, to be aired on Sony Entertainment Television. YUDH is going to change the way audiences look at primetime television with unique methods being implemented by the makers to give the show a realistic feel. One such distinctive feature is minimal or no makeup for the artists on the show.
In a departure from the usual, Anurag Kashyap, the creative director of the show took the deliberate decision of ‘No makeup’ for the artists and the entire cast welcomed the suggestion. Amitabh Bachchan, who plays the character of a real estate baron, Yudhisthir Sikarwar on the show added, “Keeping in mind that it was a directorial decision to make visuals look as real-life as possible, it was essential that the actors looked natural. That helped in the way our scenes were lit up & there were no special efforts to conceal defects, if any, on our faces. These factors work well in the overall look of the product.”
The mystique around 'Yudh' continues to draw attention of the entire nation
YUDH coming soon only on Sony Entertainment Television
