Faisal Khan’s new found passion!

Lights camera action!! These are the words which every actor hangs on. However, there are a few talented actors who aspire to say the same words someday, just like our very own multi-talented Faisal Khan a.k.a Maharana Pratap of the show Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap on Sony Entertainment Television.  He has already proven his prowess in dancing and acting and now this young mind is developing a keen interest on direction.

He uses every opportunity to understand the nuances of this new found passion.

Elaborating on his new interest Faisal shares, “ Being on the show Maharana Pratap has let me evolve as an actor and now I have developed a keen interest in the intricacies of direction. I head off to the director’s chair whenever I manage to squeeze some free time out from our schedules to gain as much knowledge as possible. It is fascinating to play the scene out in my head and then see how differently our director directs the scene in reality.”

Here is wishing him luck with his new found passion and we are sure he will shine just as much as he has in the past.

Rekha’s much awaited ‘Super Nani’ to release on 24th October!

 

Women power is all set to get the magical and evergreen ‘Rekha’ touch with her much awaited Super Nani finally confirmed for release this Diwali on 24^th October 2014! Bharat Shah Presents a Maruti International Production; Super Nani is produced by Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria, directed by Indra Kumar.

Touted as Rekha’s long awaited ‘comeback’ mainstream venture, Super Nani stars Rekha, Sharman Joshi, Shweta Kumar, Anupam Kher and Randhir Kapoor.

Baa, maa, mummy, ammi, aayi, maata, mother… various names of the same dame. She is the one who brings us to this world, the one who brings us up, the one who feeds us, and the one who teaches us to live life. But as we grow up, we are the ones who start teaching her the ways of life.

Super Nani’ gives a strong message to all the women that their power lies within themselves; all they need to do is discover and use it.

The journey of Rekha aka Bharti Bhatia and her grandson played by Sharman Joshi is definitely a one to be experienced, as the fun, laughter, tickles, and tears of happiness will leave you with a light heart and a changed mind!

Arjun, Deepika shake their Bootiya in Finding Fanny!!

Homi Adajania's next Finding Fanny is surely standing out for its clutter-breaking content. The director has now shot a hilarious music video with Arjun Kapoor and Deepika Padukone for a song titled Shake Your Bootiya. The video will also feature Dimple Kapadia, Pankaj Kapur and Naseeruddin Shah.
Homi says, "It was great fun! We put an empty dollhouse in front of the cast and they had no clue what they were reacting to! I wanted them to be impulsive and improvise and when you put all these guys together you really have no idea what'll happen but you know it'll be hilarious!"
Homi again roped in ace choreographer Shiamak Davar to choreograph this video. Shiamak says, "This song will be a highlight for the film! The music is very catchy and I had the best time choreographing it. The concept of the song is very different and the audience will love it! It’s an out-and-out fun song and people will be hooked on to the signature step!"
Already being called a film to watch out for, Finding Fanny releases on September 12. Produced by Maddock Films, the film is being presented by Fox Star Studios.

A case of crime and innocence on Crime Patrol

 
This week, Crime Patrol brings an interesting case of murder full of twists and turns. The two-episode probe will see the mysterious killing of a freelance photographer Hashim Qazi. Post an assignment in Lucknow, Hashim is disturbed but doesn’t tell anyone. Two days later, he is attacked by masked goons who kill him. Unable to catch the assailants, his son catches a faint glimpse of them as they are escaping. The story which began in the year 2000 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, will take a turn when the victim’s wife and son are framed for the murder.
Will the police officers be able to find out who the culrpits are? Will Hashim’s son and wife be able to prove their innocence? To find out don’t forget to watch Crime Patrol, this Friday-Saturday, August 22-23, at 9pm only on Sony Entertainment Television

Ekta Kapoor gifts luxury SUV to Hitmaker Mohit Suri.

Post the riveting success of Ek Villian , sources reveal that producer Ekta Kapoor will be gifting director Mohit Suri a luxury automobile for giving the production house another 100 crore grossing film.

After Murder 2 and Aashiqui 2 , the success of Ek Villian has futhur gone to reiterate that Mohit Suri is one of the industry's most sought after directors. Always the one to do it his way, the director was lauded for his skills behind the camera by the audience and critics alike

While the music of Ek Villian was the biggest highlight of the film , it came as no surprise especially since Mohit Suri who has always been associated with popular music that has struck a chord with the masses and classes alike, has always had an innate sense of music , which has reflected right from his first film .

Having impressed producer Ekta Kapoor, Mohit was in for a surprise when the Balaji headhoncho booked a luxury SUV for him.

When contacted the director neither confirmed nor denied the news as he said, "You will have to ask Ekta that".
