Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap bags the best historical show Award!

The popular historical show Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap on Sony Entertainment Television, has been winning a lot of hearts through its crisp and unique concept. Drawing in the viewers’ attention with its captivating storyline, the show has won the best historical show award at the 14^th Indian Television Academy (ITA) Awards.

The show has not only won the Best Historical Show award but also bagged the Best Child Actor Award - Faisal Khan, Best Supporting Actor (Male) award – Shakti Anand and Best Supporting Actor (Female) award – Rajshri Thakur.

Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap has been hugely appreciated and loved by the viewers. The historical show revolves around the story of the great warrior of Mewar, which is enacted by the talented actor Faisal Khan. All the actors of the show have done justice to their respective characters and the show has turned out to be a perfect mix of action, drama and emotions.

KBC completes 1000th contestant on KBC with Murtuza Hashmi

 

The episode starts with roll over contestant Shivangi Maletia from Faridabad. She is a dentist by profession and aspires to be a model someday. On special demand from Shivangi, AB does a ramp walk with her which overwhelmes her as it was her first ever ramp walk and she got the chance to walk with the mega star AB. The next contestant to come on hot seat is Syed Murtuza Hashmi from Hyderbad, who is a student of first year MBBS. His brother Syed Mustfa had participated in season 6 and had reached 25 lacs but unfortunately he gave the wrong answer and went back with a smaller amount. Ever since that incident, their neighbours and area people have labelled his brother Mustafa for being over confident. So now Murtuza is here on KBC to change that perception and win for his brother’s respect.

AB announces that Syed Murtuza Hashmi is the 1000^th contestant on KBC, from the time AB has been the host of the show. The next contestant to come on hot seat is Sheela Gupta from Gularbhoj. She is a housewife and her husband is a care –taker of a land, which is their only source of income. Her husband has helped her in getting educated and helped in securing an MA degree.

Mahurat of Vashu Bhagnani and Ashish R Mohan's next movie Welcome 2 Karachi

It was raining stars at Vashu Bhagnani’s office Pooja Films on Friday! Pooja Films collaborated with Virgo Entertainment Ltd to produce Ashish R Mohan’s latest comedy adventure Welcome 2 Karachi starring Arshad Warsi and Irrfan Khan as lead actors with KK, a super sexy Pakistani actress who plays an ISI agent on chase.

A happy and proud Rohit Shetty was present to support director Ashish R Mohan who assisted him in past in the Golmaal series. Also present was producer Vashu Bhagnani’s good old friend and colleague from the industry director David Dhawan supporting him in full swing setting the media to frenzy!

Welcome 2 Karachi is about how two cool adventurers find themselves in Karachi, Pakistan amidst the political tension. When asked the director about the why he chose Karachi, he quoted “Karachi when compared to any other place is considered to be the most dangerous city, but it’s the people who make the perception. Good human beings are everywhere and that’s what I would like to show through my film.”

The movie is being extensively shot in London with a lookalike locale of Karachi. There is lot more to discover when the movie unfolds in the next six months. Till then keeping our imagination and hopes high we wait for a super hit film “Welcome 2 Karachi" in 2015!

Deepika Padukone & Arjun Kapoor Promoted their film "Finding Fanny" in Delhi

 

Actors Deepika Padukone & Arjun Kapoor visited PVR, Director's Cut, Ambience Vasant kunj and Promoted their upcoming film "Finding Fanny". On the occasion, Director Homi Adajania & Producer Dinesh Vijan were also present. Finding Fanny is a Satirical Film Directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan. The film is set to be released on 12th September 2014.

Deepika Said, "This is my first film with Arjun, and he is extremely talented. It is great working with him. The script is quite really different and we enjoyed alot while doing this film".She also added, " Also, It was pleasure working with versatile veteran actors, Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia & Pankaj Kapoor. Asian Paints Har Ghar Kucch Kehta Hai Launches Season 2

~ Premieres on September 7 at 7:30 pm on Sony Entertainment Television ~

 Showcasing never seen before journeys of some of the biggest celebrities, Sony Entertainment Television presents the second edition of Asian Paints Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai produced by BBC Worldwide India. Launching on 7 September and on Every Sundays at 7:30 pm, the show will be hosted by the talented Vinay Pathak. The series will take celebrities from various walks of life, back to their special childhood home to relive their memories.

Based on the format ‘The House That Made Me’, Asian Paints, ‘Har  Ghar  Kucch Kehta Hai’ Season 2 will see Vinay Pathak accompany the celebrities on an emotional journey. Taking them back to their roots where they come face to face with their past as they revisit the people and places that helped make them who they are today. Each episode will feature one celebrity who comes from a humble background and has successfully carved a niche for themselves through sheer talent, hard work and determination. The seven part series will feature prominent celebrities like, Olympic Bronze medalist Mary Kom, legendary Bollywood villain Prem Chopra, popular singer Kailash Kher, multi-talented choreographer Terence Lewis and cricketer Virender Sehwag amongst others.
