Johnson’s ® baby Presents The Tara Sharma Show - a platform to discuss all things parenting on Star World

The Tara Sharma Show is a platform to freely discuss topical parenting issues with people from different walks of life. In this multiplatform show, Tara plays the role of a non-patronizing moderator as she and her guests share experiences, discuss, debate, perhaps laugh and learn as they grow together as parents on the incredible journey of bringing up kids.

The show is rooted in her blog diary as a mum where she refers to personal anecdotes and stories relevant to the particular theme being discussed, always reiterating that she is no expert but just a regular mum who is always learning, hence being relatable and credible to the audience. Some of the topics addressed in the show are: The eternal debate of working mums, stay-home mums, mompreneurs and work-from-home mums, education, technology and kids, the role of dads, etc. The show also raises awareness for various causes.

There are celebrity and non-celebrity guests on the show as well as tips from professionals – child psychologists, educationists, pediatricians etc, inspirational stories and personal anecdotes.

Celebrity guests who will feature on the ‘Tara’s Tete-a-tete with’ segment of the show include Kajol, Shilpa Shetty, Mary Kom, Juhi Chawla, Vivek and Priyanka Oberoi, Konkona Sen Sharma and Tisca Chopra, among others. ‘Tara’s Parenting Pow-wows’segment features non-celebrity parents who are somehow connected to the theme of that particular episode.

The first episode will see superstar actress and mother of two- Kajol, on the hot seat, as she opens up on the experience of becoming a mother, playing a parent to two young kids and balancing her home and work life. The episode will also have an animated discussion on stay-home mums, mompreneurs and work-from-home mums, by a group of articulate mums with differing views on the subject.

Universal Pictures International and Star Movies came together to bring the First look of Jurassic World to Indian Fans

Star Movies and Universal Pictures International-India took Indian fans by surprise, bringing to them an exciting sneak peek into the dinosaur sci-fi series' latest installment, Jurassic World. Scheduled to be released on June 12, 2015, the film’s trailer was launched exclusively on Star Movies Facebook and Twitter pages.

It’s been twenty-two years since the events of Jurassic Park, and the remote island of Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park - Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. Steven Spielberg, director of the first two films in the series, will act as executive producer as he did for the third film. In the years following its release, Jurassic Park has frequently been cited by film critics and industry professionals as one of the greatest movies of the action and thriller genres. The film has garnered a cult following of fans all over the world. Star Movies along with Universal Pictures have unveiled the latest offering of the legendary franchise to India.

Jurassic park was the first film in India which was released in English ,Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and the movie set the trend for dubbing films in India.

The Bigg Boss needs to stand firm for respect of women

"Bigg Boss needs to stick to his stand for womenfolk when he takes one," feels Bollywood publicist Dale Bhagwagar, who is handling the public relations for Season 8 contestant Sonali Raut and ex-contestant Aarya Babbar.

A few weeks ago, Bigg Boss took away Ali Quli Mirza's privilege of becoming a Captain of the House again, as a punishment for inappropriately touching Sonali Raut without her consent. But seemingly going back on his stand, he offered Ali an option to have the ban removed, during a task this week.

"The Boss is looked upon as the righteous, mightiest, fairest, wisest, discerning, non-deceiving watcher and protector of the contestants. Will it be alright for him to RETRACT from his stand, especially when he has taken it for the RESPECT of a lady?," questions Dale.

"Once the Boss banned Ali from becoming a Captain again in this Season, what is the logic and sense of offering him that privilege now?" the PR further asks. "Earlier too, Bigg Boss gave a re-entry to Puneet Issar just a day after being nishkasit (evicted) for being violent towards Aarya," he points out.

"After the way Ali has behaved with Sonali as well as other contestants later, wont it be disrespectful to them all if the ban is removed?"

It can be noted that apart from disrespecting Sonali, Ali has made fun of Karishma Tanna by keeping on 'barking' (imitating an irritating dog) in the presence of none other than megastar Salman Khan.

He has earlier badly yelled at Diandra Soares and also questioned the "auqaat" (status / true colours) of a lady, in his argument with Dimpy Ganguly Mahajan. Apparently, teaching him a fitting lesson for an indecent proposal, Sonali is shown to have SLAPPED Ali on the reality show today.

An action packed episode of CID with Mahabali Shera!

This week on CID, renowned TNA wrestler Mahabali Shera will be seen packing in some punches.  Shera, on his friend Suraj’s request will come to meet him for some urgent work. However, during his birthday celebrations, Suraj suffers a brain haemorrhage and dies. Unable to understand the cause, Shera believes that it’s a murder conspiracy and insists in CID team’s involvement in helping him solve the case.  . On investigation, the CID team finds out that indeed the brain haemorrhage was artificially induced. They also come to know that Suraj had a girlfriend Anu, whom he intended to marry, but Anu’s brother Deepak was against this alliance. On digging deeper, the cops unearth another secret that Suraj’s killer had also killed his wrestling guru 6 months back!
