Balaji Motion Pictures plans to release several titles in Dolby Atmos

Azhar (Md. Azharuddin’s biopic) to be the first movie from the production house to release in Dolby Atmos  

Dolby Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE: DLB) today announced that Balaji Motion Pictures plans to release several Dolby Atmos titles in a broad range of genre starting with Azhar (Md. Azharuddin’s biopic). 

Dolby Atmos unleashes the potential of sound in storytelling by giving filmmakers the creative freedom to easily place or move sounds anywhere in the movie theatre, including overhead, to create the most engaging cinema experience ever.

Balaji Motion Pictures has been at the helm of producing breakthrough movies that are both commercially successful and creatively appreciated. The production house strives for its comedies, thrillers, and dramas to push the envelope and deliver great entertainment to cinema lovers.

Synopsis of the movie

Badmaashiyaan is a “love maze” involving three men and two women, a labyrinth of relationships between 5 youngsters who come across various incidents and accidents in a single day.

Café owner- Dev’s girlfriend Na-ri left him the night he meant to propose her and months later he meets cute girl next door- Palak during a bank hold-up.  Dev’s friend Pinkesh, a private investigator, has been trying to track down Na-ri for him.  He finds that she has shacked up with  don - Jassi, a reformed gangster, but when she steals from him she sets in motion a series of events that involves everyone in unexpected ways.

A fun love story about two couples, the strange coincidences that surround them and the various intersecting combinations as they go their separate ways.

Crime Patrol to promote - Bachpan Bachao Andolan

Known for its riveting concept, this weekend Crime Patrol on Sony Entertainment Television will see some heart wrenching stories on child labour and child trafficking. The nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi the founder of Bachpan Bachao Andolan will appear as a special guest on this weekend’s episode of the show.

 Crime Patrol will throw light on the growing phenomenon of child trafficking and exploitation, that has left the people numb. While one of the episode will portray the story of a 16 year old girl named Sakina’ who was rescued by Kailash Satyarthi’s Bachpan Bachao Andolan from the clutches of Bride Traffickers. Sakina was sold not once but twice as sex-slave. While the other episode will focus on a 18year girl named Reena who was rescued from the clutches of a police constable who was exploiting her in the pretext of welfare.To know how Sakina and Reena were rescued from these cruel crime, don’t miss to watch Crime Patrol this weekend at 11pm only on Sony Entertainment Television.

It was fun unlimited as Mahesh Bhatt along with the KHAMOSHIYAN team - Sapna Pabbi, Ali Fazal and Gurmeet Choudhary visited Glamsham.com's office to promote the film.
We all know that Mahesh Bhatt is a man of a lot of words. So the entire cast couldn't stop laughing when Mahesh Bhatt was asked why he was doing a film titled KHAMOSHIYAN. But Bhatt, in his trademark style, was quick to respond, "When you talk yourself out, you feel exhausted. Then silence takes over, but that deafening silence is more eloquent than all the words that you have spoken.”
He further added, "KHAMOSHIYAN It is a film which is made with great confidence by a 23-year-old director - Karan Darra. Though it is a supernatural, erotic thriller, the writer and director have shown tremendous confidence. And they have conveyed it through silences. That is what makes the film beautiful. It is a very mature work.”
KHAMOSHIYAN is all set to release on 30th January, 2015.
