Swara Bhaskar is known to be a dedicated actor who has a no-holds-barred approach to her films and roles

Swara Bhaskar is known to be a dedicated actor who has a no-holds-barred approach to her films and roles. So when director Ashwiny Iyer asked her to put on 8kgs for her role as protagonist in Nil Battey Sannata, Swara complied and piled on the kilos. However she started shooting for Salman starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo and Sooraj Barjatya expressly asked her to lose weight. Swara has been training hard for the past few weeks as she goes back to PRDP for her second and crucial schedule in February. Sources say she is doing a mix of Calisthenics/ Body Fit, Free Weights and basics of mixed martial arts with celebrity trainer Delton D'Souza. "Swara is training daily and harder than she ever has. She is also being more careful about her diet than ever before. Delton is relentless and the efforts are paying off already."
Quote: I am now understanding firsthand the meaning of the saying: no gain without pain!! I am SO sore from training! I don't think I've ever worked so hard. Delton is strict and relentless which is good for a brat like me. So yes I feel like I'm training for the Army. But seriously the best thing is I'm using my body weight and doing a lot of fitness oriented training. Delton is also teaching me some self defense moves.. So I'm going to be a mean girl on the streets that no one can mess with. (Laughs) :)

Sunny Days For Bangkok!

When we say Sunny Leone and ONE NIGHT STAND, in a sentence it is bound to cause curiosity. By the looks of it, debutant director Jasmine D’Souza has certainly achieved that. The film starring Tanuj and  Sunny Leone which is yet to get on the floor has been the talk of the
town already.
The entire cast and crew, sans Sunny for the moment, has reached Thailand and is set to start commence the shoot, apparently the cast has had such rigorous rehearsals prior to the filming that they are completely set to the shoot, and once Sunny reaches Bangkok on the 23rd, there’ll be nothing stopping the temperatures from soaring. The film marking the debut for director Jasmine D’Souza (she’s Anthony D’Souza’s wife) the lady in question has ensured that she leaves no stone unturned for the preps, she has double checked the locations and even knows her frames already, impressing everyone in the crew. Tanuj who replaced Rana Daggubati in the film is said to be seen in a whole new avatar too. This is one ‘ONE NIGHT STAND’ the audience is anxiously waiting to be wrapped up and presented to them.

End violence in the name of religion, says actress Arjumman Mughal

Coinciding with the annual UN World Interfaith Harmony Week (WIHW) to be held in the first week of February, Bollywood actress Arjumman Mughal has urged people to put an end to violent acts in the name of religion.

Recently, Arjumman played the female lead in the highly-sensitive movie Ya Rab, with the tagline 'Jihad against terrorism'. Endorsed and released by Mahesh Bhatt, Ya Rab was hailed as a genuine effort to showcase the correct face of Islam and help bring misguided youth back to the right path.

The World Interfaith Harmony Week has been established by the United Nations to promote peace and harmony between all people, regardless of their faith.

"Indians are an example of unity in diversity from ages now. And this is the time to put a complete end to all kinds of discrimination and violence in the name of religion. India is the perfect country to take this initiative and be a glowing example for the world to follow," says Arjumman.

Her film depicted how the religion of Islam has been used by some unscrupulous elements, as a tool to propagate violence and terrorism. It focused on a very delicate issue about a few self-proclaimed Maulanas (Islamic preachers) misinterpreting The Quran and its real meaning.

"Arjumman's cry for peace and harmony reminds me of Michael Jackson's everlasting song, 'Heal the world, make it a better place, for you and for me, and the entire human race. There are people dying, if you care enough for the living, make a better place for you and for me'," reminisces her public relations officer Dale Bhagwagar.

It can be noted here that Arjumman also bagged the 'Shaurya Award for Bravery and Excellence' not only for her restrained performance in the movie, but also for the sheer audacity and courage of accepting the extremely sensitive role, inspite of being a Muslim.
