Marathi Cinema goes bold with Divakar Ghodake's CHITRAFIT 3.0 MEGAPIXEL

Marathi films have made us emotional, cry & also tickled our funny bones all these years but, for the first time, we will see Marathi cinema going bold with writer-director Divakar Ghodake's upcoming film CHITRAFIT 3.0 MEGAPIXEL.
CHITRAFIT 3.0 MEGAPIXEL is a film with a bold subject, intimate scenes yet has a strong message. We have seen Marathi films with the rural touch, films based on emotions, films on the youth, but a film like this has never been witnessed in Marathi cinema.
When asked the debutant director about taking a bold step with CHITRAFIT, he said, "Yes we can say this, but, I don't know whether such movies have ever been made in Marathi cinema or not. Some people are saying that this movie is bold, which it is. May be it is bold in Marathi, but it is sensible enough, and it is not about sex and all. It is just a part of the subject around which the movie revolves." "I didn't think about this being bold or not, I just thought to be authentic with the audience, I wanted to be true to the audience and I made sure not to cross the limit. Whatever I did, it will entertain the audience and they will surely remember it," added Divakar.
CHITRAFIT is produced by Rahul Borse & Abdul RC and co-produced by Somnath Devkar & Jeevan Patil. STV and Pickle Entertainment have collaborated and CHITRIFIT is their first films as co-distributors. The film stars Seema Azmi and Ashish Pathode in pivotal roles. Also starring Ravi Patwardhan, Gauri Shankar, Shefali Maydeo, Dansing Rajput, Mike Hevan, Nerav Soni, Vinita, Mahesh Rale, Isha, Sachin Kabir, Vipul Patil, Meenal Chirankar, Komal and Suhas Shirsath, CHITRAFIT is cinematographed by Sachin Kabir. It is all set to release on 20th February, 2015.

Arzoo to get arrested??

Sony Entertainment Television’s Humsafars sees the lead actors Harshad Chopra aka Sahir and Shivya Pathani aka Arzoo share a lot of romantic moments. With mysterious things continuing to happen in Niyamat House, Kurti Appa is still trying to find out ways to blame Arzoo for Zeenat’s condition. After the swimming pool incident, Kurti Appa will decide to create a rift between Sahir and Arzoo by provoking her to dress up like Zeenat in order to impress Sahir. Instigated by her, Arzoo will decide to wear a saree for a date with Sahir. However, when Sahir will see Arzoo dressed up like Zeenat, he will get very upset and reprimand her for aping someone else. This will lead to a huge fight between the two, thus making Kurti Appa’s plan successful.

While they will be still fighting, Arzoo will get behind the wheel and decide to drive back home with Sahir sitting beside her. On their way, they will be shocked to see the Maulvi taking Zeenat somewhere on a wheelchair! However, Arzoo will lose control of the car and will bang into Zeenat. Vikram Singh Rathore will land up at the accident place and say he will try to arrest Arzoo as she was driving the car.

RJ Dhanveer Singh to act in the show Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap

It’s raining ‘new entries’ in the popular historical show Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap on Sony Entertainment Television. Recently we had witnessed the entry of Tarun Khanna who is seen essaying the role of Zeher Sakaa and the gorgeous Riya Deepsi seen playing the role of Salima. Apart them, the show will see another new entry of a popular RJ turned actor - RJ Dhanveer will be seen portraying the character of King Shalivan in the show. According to the story track, King Shalivan will play the love interest of Maharana Pratap’s sister Maan Kanwar and eventually they will be seen getting married.
