Comedy King Paresh Rawal To Rule Again

There are very few actors in Bollywood who have the art to leave the audience rolling with laughter and versatile actor Paresh Rawal accomplishes this feat every time he is seen on the silver screen. Having dabbled with a variety of roles successfully in his career spanning over three decades, Paresh Rawal excelled in playing hilarious characters with unmatchable comic timing. Be it creating a new brand of comedy essaying the character of Baburao in Hera Pheri or atheist Kanjibhai in OMG - Oh! My God, Paresh Rawal has not just infused life and soul into characters but also made them memorable for all movie buffs.Continuing the comic streak, the prolific actor is all set to tickle your funny bone and scratch your conscience with some very deep questions disguised as witty one-liners in his upcoming satirical film Dharam Sankat Mein. This time, Paresh Rawal - who will be seen playing a father, a maulwi and a pundit, all in one film - pairs up with stalwarts Naseeruddin Shah and Annu Kapoor in the story of a man torn by the dilemma of choosing between two religions. In Dharam Sankat Mein, Paresh plays Dharampal, a man caught in an identity crisis of epic proportions! His entire belief system is shaken when documents from his departed mother’s locker reveal to him that instead of being what he believed himself to be - an average upper middle class Hindu - he was actually born to a Muslim family! Speaking about his role, Paresh Rawal said, “The film goes into a series of hilarious events that follows once I figure my true identity,” quips Rawal further adding, “Dharam Sankat Mein is an important film wherein a good message is being delivered through a rib tickling story.” Talking about his illustrious film journey, Rawal added, “I’m fortunate to have got the opportunity to play interesting characters. I hope to continue entertaining the audience and my fans."Presented and produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and also produced by Trigno Media, this situational comedy is all set to hit the theaters on 10th April, 2015.

The "Mijwan" Legacy Lives On !

Kaifi Azmi was a colossus of our times who marched across our nation’s canvas of art and culture. He was a rare poet who practiced what he preached and worked to empower Mijwan a tiny village in Eastern UP where he was born.
From his tireless commitment to the betterment of his village, rose his  passionate determination to ensure a right to education for every child. He believed India can make real progress only when the girl child is placed at the center of development and is guaranteed equal opportunity to education health and employment. From a village frozen in time ,Mijwan has been transformed into a model village.
This year on the 4th April 2015, as we celebrate the 5th year of the Annual Mijwan fashion show by Manish Malhotra, our theme -MIJWAN - THE LEGACY epitomizes the continuing realization of Kaifi Saab’

s vision and the wonderful legacy of hope and empowerment for the assured future of all, particularly the underprivileged.
This is the legacy bestowed upon us. This is the legacy we must nurture, celebrate and fulfill. In Kaifi Sahebs words
Koi tto sood chukaye
Koi tto zimma ley
Us inquilab ka
Jo aaj tak udhaar sa hai...
His daughter Shabana Azmi has been carrying forward her father's dream and in turn her goddaughter Namrata Goyal continues to help in its realization. It is only befitting that this year’s show will have parent child couples from the Film Industry walk the ramp for the empowerment of the girlchild. Jaya and Abhishek Bachchan, Javed and Farhan Akhtar, Anil and Sonam Kapoor are a few legacy pairs that will be walking the ramp for the show.

JAMES BAY RELEASES DEBUT ALBUM CHAOS AND THE CALM

RELEASES VIDEO FOR HIT SINGLE “LET IT GO”
SELECTED AS VH1 “YOU OUGHTA KNOW” ARTIST FOR APRIL
James Bay - Chaos And The Calm Album Artwork SOLD OUT TOUR KICKED OFF WITH A SOLD OUT SHOW AT BOWERY BALLROOM IN NEW YORK
Critically acclaimed UK troubadour JAMES BAY has released his much anticipated full-length debut album, Chaos And The Calm [Republic Records].
BAY has also released the official music video for his hit single “Let It Go”.
BAY kicked off his U.S. headline tour in New York City with a SOLD OUT show at the Bowery Ballroom. The tour continues on April 27 at Mod Club in Toronto and will wrap at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on May 14. Full tour routing can be found below.
2015 has already been a breakout year for the internationally acclaimed UK singer and songwriter. At the end of December, he hit the stage at Late Night with Seth Meyers for his first-ever stateside television performance and was recently on Jimmy Kimmel Live! at the SXSW festival.  BAY has been profiled by tastemakers such as Spotify, Buzzfeed, Entertainment Weekly, BlackBook, Mashable, The Guardian and Q Magazines as an “Artist to Watch” in 2015 and he recently received the high honor of the BRIT Critics Choice Award, joining the ranks of past winners Sam Smith, Adele, Florence + the Machine, Jessie J, and more, and was also a finalist on BBC Sound of 2015.
In addition, James has been selected as VH1’s You Oughta Know” Artist for April which has traditionally introduced predominant artists on the rise and served as a barometer for what’s hot in music today. Past You Oughta Know artists have included Ed Sheeran, Adele, Lorde, Sam Smith, and Mumford and Sons.
BAY hails from the tiny town of Hitchin, but he cut his teeth performing at London’s iconic venues including opening for The Rolling Stones at Hyde Park, opening for two sold out tours with Kodaline, John Newman and Tom Odell. It was at one of these very performances that a fan filmed his set and shared the video on YouTube. The video quickly caught the attention of Republic Records who ended up flying BAY to New York and signing him on the spot. Last fall, he was selected to perform at the Burberry’s Prosum Spring/Summer Fashion Show and the iTunes Music Festival. BAY will soon be embarking on 3 sold out UK tours including 2 nights at London’s famous Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

Money Doesn’t Come Before Commitments!

Ek baar joh Isha ne commitment kardi, toh kardi! She is not someone who turns away from her commitments no matter what. Recently the gorgeous actress was offered a very lucrative offer which would have tempted anyone but given the actress had commitments down south….
Isha was recently offered an extremely tempting offer by a Marathi Television channel wherein the gorgeous mulgi was supposed to be judging a dance show, but given Isha is already neck deep in work with her commitments down south there was no way that she could have considered the offer, even if the offer was a whooping Rs. 80lacs!!!
“There is only this much that one can do, Isha has two films down south and she is one of the most committed actors ever, she refused to even consider the offer that was made, because her film commitments would not have allowed her to give the kind of hours that the reality show would need, so she promptly excused herself,” quipped our source.
