Vindhya Tiwari to be seen in Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap

With the recent leap in the show Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap on Sony TV, we see many new characters being introduced in the show, one of the recent entry in the show will be the talented actress Vindya Tiwari. She will be seen playing the role of Rani Durgavati in the show. Many twists and turns will follow with her entry.

On being a part of the show, we got in touch Vindhya to know more about her character and preparing herself for an historical show, on which she says, “I am very excited to be a part of the show. Historical has many action sequence and I had to prepare myself for sword fighting and horse riding. I am living the life that I had dreamt of. As a kid I had picturised myself riding a horse and now I am doing it.”

Furthermore she elaborates saying, “Action sequence demand a lot of energy because the weapons used are very heavy. So I have to be fit and look good. Most important is to have a balanced diet and lifestyle. For this particular role, I changed my diet to fit into the characters demand.”

SHOLAY: THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION’ HITS #1 ON iTUNES CHARTS ON ITS 40TH ANNIVERSARY

Yesterday, Universal Music India released a very special anniversary collection to commemorate the 40^th anniversary of Bollywood’s legendary blockbuster - Sholay. One of the most iconic films in the industry, Sholay has been the first Indian film to have a Stereophonic soundtrack and to use the 70 mm Wide Screen format. 

By 15^th August, the album had already hit #1 on iTunes making it an iconic anniversary for the cult classic. `Sholay: The 40^th Anniversary Collection’ includes over two hours of the dialogues and songs of the iconic film chronologically sequenced to take the listener through a fantastic Sholay experience.

The `Sholay: 40^th Anniversary Collection’ saw a worldwide digital download release on 14^th August 2015 exclusively on the iTunes store. The album will also be available across streaming partners as well as on physical formats.

Piku Kickstarts its Awards Journey!

Sweeps awards at Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2015

  Shoojit Sircar’s celebrated quirky family drama, Piku,  bagged the Best Film, Best Director and Best Actor nods  at the ongoing Indian Film Festival of Melbourne in Australia.  The film, which turned out to be one of the biggest hits of 2015 and has been critically acclaimed globally, was toplined by actors Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan.

 Shoojit Sircar who represented Team Piku at IFFM picked up the best director trophy. The film maker said,  “ I am overwhelmed by the honour bestowed by IFFM and  the love and affection of the people world over for Piku. I am grateful  to my writer Juhi Chaturvedi, my partner in Rising Sun films  Ronnie Lahiri, our producers Sneha Rajani, NP Singh and Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika and Irrfan. I am thankful to the entire team for their hardwork in bringing the film to the audience. I am delightfully surprised by the win .”

Eros International to co-produce Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar GabbarSingh
