It’s a renowned fact that many Bollywood celebrities have
grown up with their obsession for animated characters and filmmaker JP Dutta’s
daughter Nidhi Dutta is a huge fan of Disney princesses.
Nidhi, who will be making her big Bollywood debut as an
actor this year with Jee Bhar Ke Jee Le, produced by JP Dutta under JP Gene
banner, makes it a point to visit Disneyland every year in Paris.
Taking her Disney obsession to another level, Nidhi has
now teamed up with designers Jade (Monica and Karishma) and created a unique
and interesting line of clothing inspired by her favourite Disney princesses
including Rapunzel, Cindrella, Merida, Jasmine and Ariel among others.
"It's an every girl's dream to have a fairytale
wedding. Our wedding trousseau is inspired by this desire that ranges from
flared ensembles, encrusted tassels, shimmering shoes, and more. We're
delighted to work with Nidhi to help these beautiful brides look like a
princess on their wedding day.", said Monica (Jade )
The new line will be exclusively available on Nidhi’s
online style portal ‘Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo’ which also features popular designers
showcasing their creations.
While Jade will design the clothing line, Nidhi will give
her inputs in terms of style.
I am extremely
excited about this new venture! I have always been crazy about everything
disney and spent most of my childhood playing dress up in their princess
costumes so when it came to creating a line for my styling company I knew exact
where I would take my inspiration from! And also the clothes by Jade are just
breathtakingly beautiful and whenvwr I have worn them I have felt like a
princess so I'm very glad Monica was on the same page as me and we have created
this line to make every girl feel like a princess!
