Sonali Bendre Behl turns perfect muse for designer Anavila Misra

The gorgeous actress-turned-author Sonali Bendre Behl recently shot with renowned designer Anavila Misra for the May issue of Harper’s Bazaar Bride magazine.

In the latest issue of Bazaar Bride, Sonali is seen showcasing Anavila’s trademark hand-woven linen saris with great élan. What fascinates the designer the most about Sonali is her age-appropriate dressing and the fact that resonates earthy charm, and her love for minimalism.

Sonali says, “Anavila is close to what I am as an individual. She ties my love for Indian elements with western silhouettes beautifully. I believe in sticking to the roots and being traditional when it comes to celebrations.”

But in Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Nushrat Bharucha threw the audience into fits of laughter. Her nuanced performance as the nagging girlfriend we all remember as - "CHICKU", landed her a few awards, most notable of them was the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for the Best Actor in a Comic Role, where she joins other stalwarts this year like Manoj Bajpayee and Priyanka Chopra.

She is extremely ecstatic with the honour but that's not all thats keeping her smile going. Nushrat will now be seen in an Ad directed by Dibakar Bannerji, who had first directed Nushrat in his film 'Love, Sex Aur Dhokha', where she essayed the role of a virginal, repressed north indian girl, a victim of honour killing.

Well, our very own Mumbai girl seems to be covering all the colours of a rainbow with panache. We hope to keep seeing her in more and she can keep us entertained with her infectious combination of beauty and acting talent.

Mr Bachchan playing football on sets of TE3N

Amitabh Bachchan was shooting at the famed club grounds Mohammedan Sporting Club in Kolkatta for TE3N and the megastar also had quite some fun kicking around the ball during breaks! We hear that post the shoot, the club has bestowed upon Mr Bachchan honorary life membership! The club which celebrates 125 years of its inception, has inducted Mr Bachchan in their club

A source close to the team says, "Mr Bachchan was quite nostalgic when he was shooting at the football club grounds as they have been the same benches since 1950s! He used to often attend matches, sometimes straight from the train station upon arrival, given the passion Kolkatta has for football! It brought back many fond and nostalgic memories for him on the sets."

Endemol, Reliance Entertainment, Cinemaa, Kross Pictures and Blue Waters Motion Pictures, have come together for “TE3N”, an emotional thriller starring Amitabh Bachchan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, with Vidya Balan in a pivotal guest appearance. The film, which has Sujoy Ghosh as creative producer and Ribhu Dasgupta as its director, is scheduled for a worldwide release on June 10th, 2016.
