Swara Bhaskar delivers her first solo hit – Nil Battey Sannata

Swara Bhaskar’s conviction to portray the challenging role of a mother in Nil Battey Sannata so early in her career has certainly paid rich dividends.
Little did the versatile actress know that her impeccable performance in the family entertainer would set the box office cash registers ringing!
Swara, who’s already riding high on the success of movies including Tanu Weds Manu Returns and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is elated that her latest release, Nil Battey Sannata has crossed Rs 4 crores at the box office despite having a limited release of 350 screens only.
Swara’s B-town friends, film critics and trade pundits praised her performance and the heartwarming narrative of a mother and her daughter. Interestingly, the film is still running in cinemas in its third week! In fact, some shows have still reported packed houses.
This Aanand L Rai’s family entertainer, which was high on content, stood on its own despite big releases including Jungle Book and Baaghi. The satellite rights of Nil Battey Sannata have been sold to a leading movie channel for an impressive amount.
It’s learnt that Uttar Pradesh government has granted the movie Rs 2 crore subsidy for being shot entirely in Uttar Pradesh and being a socially relevant film. 
Reportedly, Netflix and Eros Now are also keen in acquiring the online rights of the film as well.

The versatile and successful actress has an interesting line up of films releasing this year including Anaarkali Aaraawaali in which she will surprise the audience and her fans once again, as she plays the title role of Anaarkali, a local singer of live performances of lewd and double-meaning songs. 

“Daboo is a stress buster of our show” – Nikita Dutta

It’s tough for the actors of daily soap to shoot for the shows which requires long hours. But well, Sony Entertainment Television’s ongoing show Ek Duje Ke Vaste has a stress buster on their set to deal with hectic shooting schedule.
The child artist on the set of the show has won the hearts of his co-actors and the production house with his cuteness. Atharva Phadnis aka Daboo spreads joy with his presence on the set and is like a stress buster for all the actors on the show informs us Nikita Dutta who essays the role of Suman, “This little adorable kid brings smile on the face of people with his cute antics. His innocence and intelligence have made him favourite of our our entire unit.”
Furthermore she elaborates saying, “Since I am personally very fond of kids, I love spending time on the set with him. The unit misses him when he is not around. Just like his character, Atharva spreads love and happiness with his presence on the set.
Truly it is very difficult to detach from the people you love and when they are kids, it’s even more difficult. To catch the phenomenal performance of Atharva Phadnis as Daboo tune in to Ek Duje Ke Vaste from Monday to Friday at 10pm only on Sony Entertainment Television

RAVEENA TANDON SNAPPED DURING THE SHOOT OF HER UPCOMING FILM MATR:THE MOTHER IN DELHI!

The Tip Tip Barsa Paani actress recently snapped during the shoot of her upcoming film 'Maatr: The Mother' in Delhi. Based on the love of a mother for her daughter, 'Maatr: the mother' will feature Raveena Tandon as a mother in the film who goes through the pain of losing her daughter.
The lady got little emotional while shooting and her tears couldn't stop seeing the picture of her daughter during the shot.
She even revealed that she got really disturbed for a week while shooting a particular scene. While talking about few rape cases, the brutality and violence against women she said "the age for the juvenile should lowered to atleast 16 years".
