SHAUKEEN KAMINAY–  is a 2016 Contemporary Indian Women Centric, Social, Youth,  Comedy film written by Brajesh Pandey & produced by Brajesh Pandey and Pratima Pandey. Shaukeen Kaminay is directed by Anil Chorasiya which features Narendra Tiwari, Kartik Gaur, Sahil Garg, Vanshika Gupta, Yasmin Pathan, Priyanka Singh, Manisha Singh in the major roles.

Synopsis

Shaukeen Kaminay is a story of three strangers who eventually become friends as they go through the daily grinds of life. Circumstances lead them to share a common apartment in a posh locality in Mumbai.

In due course the three friends discover that they have similar tastes and likings. ‘Som’ is basically a cool guy who runs his own call center; ‘Sunny’ is a professional photographer. ‘Hardik’ is a software engineer working for a multinational firm. Meeting, attracting & seducing beautiful women into the bedroom is their only common obsession ecause they are casanova.

In their search for females for fun, their destiny leads them to a village where marriages are open

ended. The three friends find that this arrangement suits them as they can have fun as long as they like and can just walk away home anytime. But life has something else in store for them. They are shocked to find that one of their friends ‘Som’ has taken the marriage seriously and has planned to take his wife ‘Sonali’ along with him to Mumbai. This is the contradiction of the pledge. Som loves the girl and doesn’t want to leave her. The friends don’t want to leave Som. The friends forcibly take Som back to Mumbai. After reaching Mumbai Som is devastated. He starts drinking heavily. This situation compels the other two friends ‘Sunny’ and ‘Hardik’ to realize that love has immense power….. It can make or break a person completely. Destiny favors the brave and Som is successfully united with his wife. Sny and Hardik are back on track with their routine life with fun and frolic with females. Onefine day Sunny too finds his lady love ‘Divya’. He gets attracted to her beauty. Should he marry her? Sunny ultimately goes by the heart and gets married. After the two friends get married, Hardik is left alone. Now he wants to settle down in his life by marrying a village girl of his mother’s choice. Hardik feels he will be the victorious by marrying  virgin village girl. Hardik gets married to ‘Pallavi’. After marriage Hardik brings his wife to Mumbai and in is surprised to find that she is not virgin. In a fit of rage he leaves Pallavi and decides to divorce her. Was Pallavi really not a virgin? If not why did she hide the truth? Did the three friends marry

virgin girls? What was the pact between Sonali and Pallavi on the day of engagement? Was Divya and Sunny’s marriage legal? Will Pallavi and Hardik be together again? Why virginity is a privilege for men and justification for women?

'जग्गा जासूस' गायेगा १८ गीत !

पिछले दिनों खबर थी कि रणबीर कपूर और कैटरीना कैफ अलग अलग उड़ानों से मोरक्को में अपनी फिल्म जग्गा  जासूस की शूटिंग करने चले गए।   इस खबर का मतलब केवल यही था कि रणबीर कपूर और कैटरीना कैफ अब लव बर्ड्स नहीं रहे।  लेकिन, मोरक्को में दोनों ने जम कर शूटिंग की रोमांस सीन किये।  इधर सोशल साइट्स पर मोरक्को में जग्गा जासूस के एक गीत की शूटिंग के चित्र वायरल हुए हैं।  खबर है कि  रणबीर कपूर इस फिल्म का मोरक्को शिड्यूल जल्द से जल्द पूरा कर लेना चाहते हैं।  इसका एक कारण यह तो है कि बतौर कोप्रोडूसर वह फिल्म के बढ़ते बजट को लेकर चिंतित हैं।  दूसरा कारण यह भी है कि रणबीर कपूर मोरक्को के बाद फिल्म के संगीत के लिए संगीतकार प्रीतम के साथ बैठना  चाहते हैं।  सूत्र बताते हैं कि जग्गा जासूस में कुल १८ गीत हैं और यह अठारहों गीत फिल्म में शामिल किये जायेंगे। यह गीत फिल्म का ज़रूरी हिस्सा भी होंगे। ऐसे में, ज़ाहिर है कि इन महतवपूर्ण गीतों की तैयारी में व्यक्तिगत रूप से शामिल हों, जैसे उनके दादा जी स्वर्गीय राजकपूर शामिल हुआ करते थे।

Cuban ‘Imperfect Cinema’ to feature at 7th Jagran Film Festival

The 7th Jagran Film Festival staring on 1st July in New Delhi will present ‘Cuba’ as the ‘Focus Country’ at this year’s edition. As part of this initiative, the Festival will present a 5-7 film package at the Festival. The films presented will travel to 16 cities of India with the festival.

Speaking on the partnership, Oscar J. Martinez Cordovés, the Ambassador of Republic of Cuba said,” Its indeed a matter of pride for us to partner with the largest travelling film festival in the world and take Cuban Cinema to so many cities in India. What we would be presenting to the people of India through this partnership is not just our films but a glimpse into our culture, history and contemporary life. I am glad we got this opportunity through Jagran Prakashan and thank them’. “

One of the special features of the film package would be a few films from the Imperfect Cinema era 1968 onwards. Imperfect cinema’ was a form or theme found through audiences that struggled in life and were aware of the hard times, people were going through. It was believed that only in the person who suffered, elegance, gravity, even beauty could be perceived and the possibility of authenticity, seriousness, and sincerity could be recognized. The Imperfect cinema represented the struggles of the people while revealing the process which generated the problem.

This special film package will comprise of feature films and documentaries and seeks to present a larger perspective on Cuban Cinema through its existence. As part of the initiative, the works of directors like HumbertoSolás, Tomás Gutiérrez Alea, Julio García Espinosa, Tomás Gutiérrez Alea, Juan Carlos Tabío and Fernando Perez.

Speaking about the partnership, the Festival’s Strategic Consultant, Manoj Srivastava said,” We are presenting the Cinema of a very special country which produced world class film makers but has yet remained largely unexplored. The Festival opens a window into the vibrant culture of Cuba.”

The Festival each year presents the Cinema of a country. The past years have seen the Cinemas of South Korea, Cyprus and the United States presented in the past editions of the festival. The 7th edition of Jagran Film Festival gets underway at New Delhi’s Siri Fort Auditoria from July 1, 2016 and after travelling through 14 cities will reach Mumbai for the Finale on 26th September 2016.
