R&B / POP SENSATION DASU UNLEASHES BRAND NEW SINGLE “FRENEMIES”

Early this year, NY/NJ based Amrit Dasu a.k.a. DASU dropped his major label debut single “Dil Kya Kare (Did I Love You?)” which went on to amass over 2 million YT/VEVO views and along the way won him hearts and hordes of fans alike! The Rishi Rich produced track that sampled the eternal `Julie’ classic “Dil Kya Kare” featured the gorgeous Mallika Sherawat in the music video.
Now, the R&B/Pop sensation unleashes his 2nd single on leading label Universal Music India. The track “Frenemies” is a straight from the heart RnB / Soul gem with a new school RnB/Pop sound.  The song is composed and written by DASU and Produced by cutting edge producer SENIK (NY). With an infectious hook and relatable lyrics, DASU is in top form showcasing his deft vocals skills over a minimalistic beat.
Says DASU, “While in a Mumbai hotel I got this thought in my head where I remember how people get so caught up in the limelight and lose themselves in “fame”. When everyone starts becoming your friend for what you do, instead of who you really are. Fake friends who smile in your face but wish to see you fall” He continues…..”`Frenemies’ is a song about someone who is on top of the world and still feels trapped in a hotel room…could have any girl in the world but can’t find true love…can have all the friends in the world but can’t find friendship, leading him to rebel against everything and everyone.”
Interestingly “Frenemies” was written in a hotel room in Mumbai while DASU was here to shoot for the music video of his debut single.
The new single is available worldwide today and is accompanied by a music video shot on the streets of China Town in New York City.

Virat Kohli raises funds for his foundation on The Tara Sharma Show

After three successful seasons of her show, ‘The Tara Sharma Show’ on television and her You Tube Channel, actress-entrepreneur and mother of two, Tara Sharma is back with the fourth season of her show, which started this month on Star World.
While the new season of the show had witnessed popular celebrities from different walks of life including Bollywood, sports personalities and business tycoons among others, Tara was quite excited to invite cricketer and youth icon, Virat Kohli on her show.
In an interesting conversation with Tara, the team India Test Captain spoke about how kids should be allowed to follow their passion similar to his real life story, his foundation - Virat Kohli Foundation, charity and his fondness for his father.
Tara informs, “Virat is amazing! I was so touched and impressed as with just asking once he said yes to be on my show. The topic of that episode 'children pursuing their passions and how much should or shouldn’t parents push their kids', is a topic close to his heart so I think that made it easier for him to say yes and he spoke beautifully on it and how his parents encouraged him to pursue his passion for cricket.”
“Virat was easy to chat to and we spoke about a lot of different things including how we were both very close to our dads who have passed on and how we believe they are with us always. We also spoke of his super Virat Kohli Foundation and as we run an auction on the show he chose to auction a piece of Pepperfry furniture for the VKF. We also laughed at various jokes and had a great time,” Tara adds.
