Since its April 29 release, tracks from DRAKE’s fourth full-length album Views [Young Money/Cash Money/Republic Records] have been streamed over 1 billion times in the U.S. – and it was done in only 3 weeks’ time. This makes for the second time he’s generated 1 billion streams on an album. 

The GRAMMY® Award-winning multiplatinum artist holds the #1 spot on Billboard’s Top 200 for five consecutive weeks, reigning supreme. He’s the “first male to lead both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard Top 200 concurrently for more than three weeks in over a decade.” Continuing this historic streak of number ones, lead single “One Dance” [feat. Wizkid &Kyla] captures #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for four straight weeks, while it’s clutched #1 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart for eight consecutive weeks.

'SULTAN' AND 'DANGAL' COACH TO PLAY RAMLEELA CHARACTERS

Jagjit Kaliraman who gave training to Salman Khan in Sultan and Kripa Shankar Patel who trained Amir Khan for Dangal were in Delhi to talk about the film and the importance of 'Kushti' in the Hindi cinema. Present at the event were Ashok Aggarwal (President of Luv Kush Ramleela), Sukhbir Saran and Arjun Kumar(Secretary).
Jagjit Kaliraman, son of the legendary wrestler Changi Ram will be playing a character of Ravan's younger brother 'Ahi Ravan' in Luv Kush Ramleela this year. Talking about the film 'Sultan' he said "We have worked really hard to make the fighting sequences look like the real life 'Kushti'".
"People considers 'Kushti' as a game of villagers. Films like Sultan and Dangal will bring a change in Hindi Cinema and will motivate real life 'Pehelwans' to perform better and win medals for their country."He said in a press conference held in Delhi.
Amir Khan's coach from 'Dangal' Kripa Shankar Patel is a Arjuna award winner and will play 'Mahareech' in Ramleela. He told that he's been a part of Ramleela since his childhood days and feels that Luv Kush Ramleela has paved ways for Ramleela play and has taken it to another level.
He said "People has a stereotype that women are just for the kitchens and to take care of the household chores but after Dangal women would be motivated to do 'Pehelwani' and will prove that there is nothing that a Women can't do"

'Sultan's' production company has organized a special screening for just the wrestlers in Delhi, Indore, Rohtak and Pune.

Tiger Shroff and Sabbir Khan team up for NextGen Films’ Munna Michael

       Romantic musical with a strong doze of stylized 

          action to go on floor in September 2016

NextGen Films today announced its upcoming romantic musical starring Tiger Shroff that will go on the floor in September 2016. This action-packed dance drama will be helmed by director Sabbir Khan who once again teams up with Tiger Shroff after two consecutive hits.

The film is based on the story of Munna, a street boy from Teen Batti in Mumbai, who loves dancing and grows up idolizing the legendary dancer, Michael Jackson. The romantic musical dance drama laced with stylized power-packed action promises to be a mass entertainer.

Commenting on the project, Producer Viki Rajani, NextGen Films said, “Tiger is phenomenal in his action as well as dance and his role in Munna Michael is tailor-made to showcase his winning moves. Sabbir and Tiger have proven their hit pairing and audiences can once again look forward to magic in this musical action entertainer.”

Director Sabbir Khan said, “I had spoken to Tiger about a story and a character I had in mind called Munna Michael a year ago. I think it got stuck in his head and when he reached out to me recently asking what was happening with it, I narrated the script to him which he loved. Munna Michael is a unique character and I think Tiger will do full justice to it. It’s our third outing together and we are hoping to score a hat trick.”

NextGen Films has previously produced films across diverse genres including R…Rajkumar, Cocktail, Table No 21, Tevar and Desi Boyz. The company recently announced its ambitious science fiction drama ChandaMama Door Ke starring Sushant Singh Rajput.

After turning chain smoker in Dishoom John Abraham goes on a detox

John Abraham who has always been the posterboy for health and fitness in the country, recently had to let go of his inhibitions for his character in Dishoom, also starring Varun Dhawan.

The actor who essays the role of a tough cop in the entertainer had to smoke over 60 cigarettes a day during the shoot of the film, despite being a complete disciplined non-smoker.

While a few of his films earlier had required him to light up in a scene or two, with Dishoom he ended up smoking over 600 cigarettes through the schedule of the film and has now turned to a complete detox diet ,to get the tobacco out of his system.

Says a source, " John who doesn't smoke at all , had smoked over 600 cigarettes as his character is a mean, tough cop and several of those scenes were even integral to the script. He is on a complete detox diet now ,which includes green salads and raw vegetable juices. He has also doubled his water intake . Apart from his regular fitness routine , he has also incorporated more cardio in his regime, to sweat the toxins out .He does this in the wee hours of the morning outdoors ,when the air is the cleanest".

When contacted confirmed John, "In no way do I or ever will I endorse smoking. It is a terrible habit that affects your health. I had to smoke about 60 cigarettes a day for the film but I am now getting it out of my system".
