Meet new-age Krishna, Meera, Radha this Janmashtami

Janmashtami, that celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna, is around the corner. While people are set to get in the festive mood by celebrating it in the conventional way  like every year, this time around they will also witness rather revisit the epic characters of Indian history - Krishna, Radha and Meera. 

Yes, upcoming Bollywood film MEERADHA, a modern day romantic film,   set in contemporary times that will portray new-age Meera, Radha and Krishna on-screen, according  to the producer, is set to arrive during the auspicious Janmashtami week. Call it coincidence or God’s blessing, MEERADHA is scheduled to hit the screens on August 19, 2016, which is close to the festival.

Not only this, the film is also releasing after Rakshabandhan, an age-old Indian festival. Looks like MEERADHA was destined to be part of people’s celebration time!  

Starring Sandhesh Gour, Anuj Pareek, Suhani Jethlia, Venus Jain, K Venkatesh, Himanshu Gour, the film is directed Aashish Sinha and produced by Surya Prakash Jethlia  under the banner of SPJ Entertainment Movie. 

MEERADHA is a story revolving around a love triangle between college students and perspectives about relationships, hopes, dreams and beyond. The movie is well  portrayed in a Desi culture with songs composed by talented musicians such as Shaan Javed Ali, Raja Hasan, Santosh Kumar, Shahzaad Ali and Suhani Jethlia and the songs  are set to tune by Archit Tak, Sugat – Shubham and Santosh Kumar.

Fazilpuria’s CHULL dazzles the capital

Fazilpuria who recently won the song of the year award for ‘Chull’ was spotted in the capital celebrating his excitement. Haryanvi rapper and singer Fazilpuria wins Mirchi Jubilee Award in the category of best song of the year for 'Kar Gayi Chul' from the film 'Kapoor & Sons'.

The song was released in the year 2014 and since then it has topped almost every playlist. But then, when the song was featured in film ‘Kapoor & Sons’ in the current year took the music industry by storm. Almost every party seemed incomplete without the song.

On being asked about the feeling the singer said,

“ It is very difficult to entre bollywood and setting a mark . I have been lucky though. It feels great when your hardwork is appericated like this.”

Using the platform he also mentioned that he would be releasing his new song ‘Jimmy Choo’ very soon which will rope in Sunny Leone for her release in January, 2017.

Om Puri: 'I have never been kicked on-screen by a lady'

Even a heavy rainfall on a Friday afternoon didn’t deter the star cast of upcoming movie Waarrior Savitri to attend the media interaction activity. They showed that they are truly the new age superheroes. Debutante Niharica Raizada and veteran actor Om Puri who play ‘Savitri’ & ‘Yamraj’ respectively were present to interact with the gathered media. Powerful actor Karmveer Chaudhary who plays an important role in the film had also arrived for the media interaction. 

Unlike those movies where mythological characters would don costumes of a by-gone era, characters in the film are depicted in a more relatable manner for today’s audience. Both Om ji & Niharica have shared an amazing on-screen rapport and that was visible in real life too. They both enacted a small fight sequence for the guests. Also present were producers of the film – Upendra Maheshwari & Bobby Kanda. 

Om Puri said, “The audience will get to see my role of a Yamraj in a different avatar. Also for the first time in my career, I have been kicked on-screen by a lady." He further added, "But more than that they should watch the film for Niharica's acting. She has performed all her action sequences without using a body double."

Actress Niharica Raizada was quoted, “I am glad that Waarrior Savitri is my debut film as I got an opportunity to portray all kinds of emotions ranging from romance to action. I don’t think there could have been any other better debut than this.”

Ayushmann Khurrana & Aisha Sharma to feature in Bhushan Kumar’s next single “Ik Vaari Haan Kehde“

Music baron Bhushan Kumar has built singles into a big alternative stream of music in Bollywood and is creating a record this year by launching numerous blockbuster singles. In his next single, a Punjabi track titled “Ik Vaari Haan Kehde“, Bhushan Kumar will be launching the young actress Aisha Sharma. The single will feature Ayushmann Khurrana along with Aisha Sharma. For the first time Ayushmann Khurrana and his brother Aparshakti will be collaborating together. While the song has been written by both Ayushmann and Aparshakti, Aparshakit has composed the track which will be sung by Ayushmann. The song which is being shot in Georgia, mid August will be directed by Pradeep Sarkar.

Shilpa shetty approached to work in a quick tv series

Shilpa shetty has been roped-in by an upcoming dance reality show. After this engagement of Shilpa with the TV, a renowned production firm in Mumbai has aproached shilpa shetty for a quick series. The series will be of 22 episodes. 

Shilpa Shetty is running busy with her brand endorsements,  her entrepreneurial ventures and fitness related ventures so she is yet to see in to the script and conceptShilpa shetty might work in a quick tv series of 20 - 22 episodes. 

The concept is based on real life incidents - inspirational stories. ‎What character has been offered to shilpa is still a top secret. Sources say, the show's concept is like Anil Kapoor's 24. It will come with a big blast and complete 22 episodes gaining viewers day by day, week by week.
