Birthday bash of Shoaib Akhtar on sets of Mazaazk Mazaak Mein

Generally Birthday's come once a year, so everyone has their own plan to celebrate on that Special Occasion, Birthdays are a new start; fresh beginnings, a time to Start New endeavours with new goals. So Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar decided to celebrate his birthday with his family in Pakistan but on the day of shoot cast and crew of Mazaak Mazaak Mein celebrated Shoaib Akhtar’s belated birthday on the set. All the contestants were the master minds behind this huge surprise. They surprised Shoaib Akhtar by organizing cake cutting on his birthday on the set during the shoot. The cast and crew did the cake cutting and had lots of fun.

When asked Shoaib Akhtar about it he said,” Life continues to surprises me. Yet another big came one when my team of Mazaak Mazaak Mein did an extremely warm cake cutting for me on the sets in Mumbai. I remembered the shoot had just finished and everyone seemed in a rush to leave including me as I was extremely hungry just then I got this beautiful surprise amidst all that is going on at the political level here was the bunch of Indians celebrating the birthday of a Pakistani dint I say life is full of surprises and beautiful ones.

We wish him belated happy birthday to Shoaib Akhtar and hope to see in good health with Good Opportunities this Year.

Child Star Ayush Khedekar enjoys dahi-handi with the revellers in Mumbai

Dahi-handi is a favourite festival with a lot of youngsters due to the adventure it brings along with it. Child star Ayush Khedekar visited one of the pandals in Lokhandwala, Andheri where dahi-handi was being celebrated with much funfare. Ayush had arrived to promote his upcoming movie Ek Tha Hero which also stars Amita Pathak Sachar ,Ashwini Kalsekar, Asrani & Darshan Jariwala in pivotal roles.

Producer Sachin Dhakan was also seen at the event.There was a huge crowd which gathered to get a glimpse of the Slumdog Millionaire star Ayush Khedekar.  He obliged his fans by clicking ‘selfies’ with them.Ayush was seen enjoying the celebrations with the ‘gopalas’. He said, “These gopalas have so much energy which translates into everyone around them. It’s so much fun to cheer them while they break the handi.” Ayush is gearing up for his next big film – Ek Tha Hero which will release on 23rd September 2016. Ek Tha Hero is a story about a 11 year old village boy named Jignesh. He is fondly referred as ‘Hero’. His dream of owning a cycle makes him go through a roller coaster ride. Through his journey full of passion, laughter, joy, tears, inspiration & learning, Jignesh wins several hearts & emerges out to be a real “HERO”. The film is jointly produced by Sachin N Dhakan, Amit Soni, Payal Madiyar & Jayesh Madiyar under the banners of Soni films & Entertainment and Filmdom Studios Pvt. Ltd. “Ek Tha Hero” has been directed & written by Yogesh Pagare. This film will be marketed by Clyde Daniels and Girish Wankhede of Entity One Pvt. Limited has come on board as the Strategy Consultant for distribution. Monty Sharma is the music director.

Taapsee and Neeraj Pandey come back with Meera

Model turned actress Taapsee Pannu who is a well renowned and popular actress of the South seems to have paved her way in a big way into Bollywood. The actress has now been roped in for a film "Meera" by Neeraj Pandey productions whose previous movies like "Special 26 "and "Baby " which became massive hits at the box office earning splendid reviews.The story of the film revolves around Taapsee who plays the title role "Meera" in the movie that reveals the backstory of how she becomes a special agent of the Indian Government. This film is going to be directed by Shivam Nair and will also have Akshay Kumar and Manoj Bajpayee in pivotal roles and the film is believed to be a prequel to the film "Baby". Taapsee will have to undergo intense training for her role as the film is meant to have several stunts in the film and will begin shooting in Mumbai from end of September. Taapsee quoted on the news saying, "It's almost too good to believe that I'm getting to play title role in my career so early. I was told about this film almost an year back but I never believed it. Now finally it's happening and I am ready to get trained in some intensive martial art form for an out n out action thriller."

'THE ISLAND CITY' WILL REVEAL THE ALIENATED LIVES OF THE PEOPLE FROM MUMBAI'

Ruchika Oberoi's directorial debut 'Island City' that had its world premiere at the 72nd Venice Film Festival 2015 won FEDEORA (Federation of film citics of Europe and the Mediterranean) award for best Debut Director. Apart from wearing Director's hat, she is the writer of the film too. She told in a press conference in Delhi "When I started writing the film I thought its a commercial movie because it is a kind of black comedy. There are so many humorous scenes in the film that will make you die laughing"

Vinay Pathak known for his comic roles will play quite a boring character in the movie. "I am playing a life of a typical man in the film whose life has boring tales of stories, who gets lost in the world in search of fun"

The film also stars popular Marathi actress Amruta Subhash and Tannishtha Chatterjee. Tanishhta who have been a part of many off beat films, when asked if she wants to do a big banner commercial movie, she said " My character in the film is no less than a commercial character. My story in the film is a love story. I dance around trees and have fantasies."

She further added, "A film is a film it depends on how connected you feel yourself to it. There are many big films where neither you not do the people connects and there are many off-beat films which does connect to the audiences and they enjoy watching it"

Talking about the poster of the film where Vinay is drowning in the water, Ruchika said "We tried to give a featuristic feel to the poster. It depicts how a person gets lost in the space of Bombay in quest of exploring it. We have today become the Islands in ourselves. Our lives are separated and alienated and that is what I tried to portray in the film"

Amruta Subhash who was last seen in Raman Raghav thanked Ruchika and said " I really grateful that Ruchika trusted in me and offered me the role. I have been part of Marathi cinema and always wanted to explore Bollywood, with this film I am making my entry to Bollywood' The film is scheduled to release on September 2nd.
