A&M/Interscope Records announces the release of Sting’s new album, 57th & 9th, his first rock/pop project in over a decade, on November 11.

Now available for pre-order, 57th & 9th represents a wide range of Sting’s musical and songwriting styles, from the ferocious, Road Warrior-style imagery of “Petrol Head,” to the anthemic, “50,000” and the raucous, guitar-driven first single, “I Can’t Stop Thinking About You.” The album was recorded with Sting’s long-time collaborators Dominic Miller (guitar) and Vinnie Colaiuta (drums) and includes contributions from drummer Josh Freese (Nine Inch Nails, Guns n’ Roses), guitarist Lyle Workman and the San Antonio-based Tex-Mex band The Last Bandoleros. Riding a wave of inspiration, 57th & 9th came together impulsively, with sessions completed in just a few weeks.

“It happened very quickly, very spontaneously,” he says. “My idea always is to surprise myself and the people I'm working with—and, hopefully, the listeners.”

Earlier today, he debuted “I Can’t Stop Thinking About You” with a world premiere performance on the Kevin & Bean show at KROQ, LA’s premiere alternative rock station. The single is available now at all digital retailers.

The album, produced by Martin Kierszenbaum, takes its title from the Manhattan street corner that Sting crossed each day as he walked to the studios in Hell’s Kitchen where the recordings were done. Sting notes that if there’s a theme in the lyrics of 57th & 9th, it’s the idea of travel and motion, most apparent in “Inshallah” and the autobiographical “Heading South On The Great North Road.”

“It’s about searching and traveling, the road, that pull of the unknown.” he says. “On this album, we ended up with something that’s energetic and noisy, but also thoughtful.”

BON JOVI REVEALS ALBUM COVER FOR THIS HOUSE IS NOT FOR SALE, NEW ALBUM ARRIVING OCTOBER 21st

Today, the iconic Grammy Award®-winning band, Bon Jovi revealed the album cover for THIS HOUSE IS NOT FOR SALE, their fourteenth studio album which reflects the integrity, enduring legacy, and stronger-than-ever bond of one of the biggest rock acts in the world. Ahead of the album’s October 21st release on Island/UMG, the band today launched a D2C pre-order site for physical CD and LP vinyl configurations of THIS HOUSE IS NOT FOR SALE. Digital pre-orders will launch on September 9th.The album cover debuted first to fans today on Bon Jovi's social media platforms and is a striking black and white image of a proud, historic house anchored by deep roots by artist Jerry Uelsmann. THIS HOUSE IS NOT FOR SALE is Bon Jovi’s 14th studio album since their 1984 debut. It reunites Bon Jovi with Grammy Award®-winning producer John Shanks, who began working with the band in 2005, on the RIAA platinum Have A Nice Day, which entered the charts at #1 in 15 countries worldwide. Release of Chapekar Brothers postponed due to Censor Board’s diktat

Producers of upcoming Hindi film Chapekar Brothers received a rude shock when Censor Board refused to certify their movie. The Censor Board has raised issues during the screening of the film over a scene in which one of the Chapekar Brothers had killed a Christian Missionary forcing Hindus to convert into Christianity during the British Raj. The filmmakers objected to this diktat by showing references of a Marathi film ’22 June 1897’ released in the year 1979 depicting the same scene.

Apart from this, the filmmakers also showed some historic articles stating this incident as a fact. However, the Censor Board has refused to co-operate and has firmly directed to delete these scenes.

Chapekar Brothers was scheduled to release on 2nd September 2016 and now due to the Censor Board issues, the film release has been postponed to 16th September 2016.

Producer Ghanshyam Patel who’s extremely disappointed said, “I am very upset with the turn of events. We had made a patriotic film with lots of passion.”

Writer Dhiraj Mishra added, “We have done thorough research on this subject and are confident about the mentioned incident.”

The film features Abhijit Bhagat, Sanjeet Dhuri and Manoj Bhatt as the Chapekar brothers, Indian revolutionaries involved in the 1896 assassination of the British Plague Commissioner of Pune, W C Rand. Veteran actor Govind Namdev is playing the role of freedom fighter Bal Gangadhar Tilak in the film. The film is directed by Devendar Kumar Pandey and produced by Ghanshyam Patel. The screenplay and dialogue is written by Dhiraj Mishra.

तीन साल पहले फिल्म वन्स अपॉन अ टाइम इन मुम्बई दोबारा में अपनी एक झलक दिखलाने के बाद एमटीवी की पूर्व वीजे सोफी चौधरी फिर से अपने पुराने शौक संगीत में व्यस्त हो गई थी ।  पिछले साल वह धर्म संकट फिल्म के गीत 'डू यू नो बेबी' में जिप्पी ग्रेवाल के साथ नाचते-गाते नज़र आई थी।  अब वीनस वर्ल्ड वाइड एंटरटेनमेंट प्राइवेंट लिमिटेड ने सोफी चौधरी के म्यूजिक वीडियो ‘साजन मैं नाचूंगी’ जारी किया है । इस म्यूजिक वीडियो को एक्टर वरुण धवन ने  लॉन्च किया। इस मौके पर सोफी चौधरी सहित को बधाई देने के लिए नील नितिन मुकेश, तुषार कपूर, अब्बास मस्तान, मान्यता दत्त, श्वेता खंडूरी, मानसी, अनुराग पाण्डेय, योगेश लखानी, अनिरुद्ध धूत, गणेश जैन, गिरीश जैन जैसी हस्तियां पहुंची । अपने म्यूजिक वीडियो के बारे में बात करते हुए सोफी ने कहा, "मेरे म्यूजिक वीडियो का हिस्सा हनी सिंह, बादशाह भी है।"

राखी सावंत के जूली बनने की कहानी

आइटम गर्ल के रूप में मशहूर अभिनेत्री राखी सावंत इन दिनों काफी उत्साहित हैं। उनके इस उत्साह की वजह यह है कि वह अब आइटम गर्ल की बजाय फिल्म ‘एक कहानी जूली की’ में हिरोईन बनकर आ रही हैं। इस फिल्म के जरिये राखी सावंत इसी 9 सितंबर को कटरीना कैफ की फिल्म ‘बार बार देखो’ को टक्कर देने जा रही हैं। राखी सावंत को लग रहा है कि ‘फितूर’ और ‘फैंटम’ जैसी फिल्मों की असफलता के चलते वह कटरीना कैफ की फिल्म ‘बार बार देखो’ को पछाड़ देंगी। ध्यान रहे कि अवध शर्मा निर्मित फिल्म ‘एक कहानी जूली की’ शीना मर्डर कांड पर आधारित है।  इसमें राखी सावंत ने इंद्राणी मुखर्जी का किरदार निभाया है। एक खास मुलाकात में राखी सावंत ने कहा, ‘‘9 सितंबर को मेरी फिल्म ‘एक कहानी जूली की’ के साथ ही कटरीना कैफ की फिल्म ‘बार बार देखो’ रिलीज होने वाली है। तो मैं भी कटरीना कैफ को जबदस्त टक्कर देना चाहती हूं।’’

राखी सावंत ने आइटम गर्ल से फिल्म की हीरोइन बनने का इरादा कैसे बनाया ! बताती हैं राखी सावंत, ‘‘शाहरुख खान, कपिल शर्मा, गोविंदा, टीवी कलाकार, क्रिकेटर, सभी सोशल मीडिया पर मुझे और मेरी फिल्म को सपोर्ट कर रहे हैं। क्योंकि, यह लोग खुश हैं कि मैं पहली बार ‘आइटम गर्ल’ से उपर उठकर किसी फिल्म में हिरोइन बनकर आ रही हूं। कभी कभी मुझे लगता है कि मेरा बहुत बड़ा सपना पूरा हुआ है, तो कभी कभी लगता है कि मैं तो हिरोइन बनने के काबिल ही नहीं हूं। लेकिन इन दिनों बॉलीवुड में इतनी आड़ी टेढ़ी हिरोइनें आ रही हैं कि मुझे भी लगा कि अब मुझे भी ‘आइटम गर्ल’ की बजाय हिरोइन बनना चाहिए। ऐसे में जैसे ही मुझे अवध शर्मा ने फिल्म ‘एक कहानी जूली की’ में हिरोईन बनने का ऑफर दिया, मैंने तुरंत लपक लिया।’’
