Gurmeet Choudhary takes up a challenging body transformation

After Khamoshiyan (2015) and Hate Story 3 (2015), Gurmeet Choudhary is set to act in yet another thriller. This time around however, it was a major challenge for the actor, who had to muscle up for a song in the film and later lose weight for another film he had to shoot soon after. What made this process even more complicated, was that while the actor had to shoot the song in Georgia , the rains made it impossible for the crew to shoot and the schedule had to be delayed to the next month. In between this, Gurmeet had to drop the pounds to sport a lean look for another film he has been shooting and again bulk up to continue shooting the song .Says a source, " Gurmeet had to beef up for a song in the film, but had to later lose weight for another movie he had to shoot for soon after. Since Gurmeet will be seen shirtless in the song, he had to be in good physical form.He followed a strict diet and weight training regime..Later since there was a delay, the song could not be shot and Gurmeet had to shred all the muscle and get lean ,only to bulk up again the next month".Says Gurmeet Choudhary, "As an actor physical transformation is one of the most difficult tasks.  I try my best to look different with each of my characters. Each character has to be treated differently .And when you shoot two movies at the same time and you have 2 different looks,  your job becomes  tougher .This time  one movie had me in a muscular beefed up look and for the other I had to shred all my muscle and look like a normal working class guy".
