ANNA HAZARE BROKE DOWN INTO TEARS RECALLING INDIA- PAKISTAN FIGHT

Kisan Baburao Hazare aka Anna Hazare is a name to be known by every Indian. Anna Hazare, well acclaimed social activist and the former soldier in Indian army has put lot of hardships to eradicate the evil corruption from the country.  The uncommon journey of this common man has been penned down by Shashank Udapurkar in the film ‘Anna’. In a special screening held at Delhi’s Film Division, Anna along with other celebrities and his fans watched the movie.
The film which took 4 year to pen down made this 79 year old emotional during the screening. While watching his own journey over the big screen, Anna broke into tears recalling old memories of India-Pakistan fight. He said “Even at this age if my country requires I would go to the border and would fight for my land”
The fans who watched the film requested Kejriwal Government to make the film tax free for the audiences.

“KARAN JOHAR AND MAHESH BHATT ARE PAKISTANI SLEEPER CELLS”- ANUPAM SHYAM

The whole India is divided over the Pakistani ban on the artist. Where many people are against it, many are in the support. Anupam Shyam who was recently in the capital to promote his upcoming movie ‘Gandhigiri’ has joined the bandwagon of the supporters of Pakistani artist ban and said “Karan Johar and Mahesh Bhatt are the sleeper cells of Pakistan. They should be beaten by the sandals. There is so much talent in our country and they rope in people from Pakistan, the enemy state.”
“They roam the world to shoot a sequence of their film where they haven’t seen the beauty of their own land, India” he said in a press conference.
Anupam Shyam who has worked in films like Lajja, Nayak, Bandit Queen and many others while digging on Mahesh Bhatt said “People after certain age talk nonsense. They are not in their conscious and senses. So, my advice for them is to start paying attention to their mental health rather than speaking shit. Not only the people even a dog won’t come to pee in the theatres when their movies are released.”
“Modi is doing well for our country and people. I have seen the time when Congress was in the power and made the country a hell for Indians and now few bastards like these directors are ruining the states and country” he further added.
Anupam Shyam will be seen in the upcoming movie ‘Gandhigiri’ based on Gandhiji’s values and beliefs alongside Om Puri.

Global Citizens to lead efforts in improving infrastructure in Mumbai’s public schools
The first ever offline action will take place on 22 October in Mumbai in support of Sustainable Development Goal 4 on Quality Education
1000 volunteer slots are available for the Green Batti Action Journey – register now on http://thegreenbattiproject.in/globalcitizenindia
Global Citizen India has partnered with ‘The Green Batti Project’, a platform for development catalysed by India’s youth, to enable citizen-driven participatory action towards improving underserved school infrastructure for under resourced communities.
The partnership was formed to engage India’s youth around the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 4, which aims to ensure inclusive and quality education for all. Quality Education is imperative to achieving the mission of eradicating extreme poverty by 2030. By 2020, 64% of the Indian population will be in the working age group, making it a youth-driven country that shapes the economy, and the ability of India to become free of extreme poverty. Only educated and healthy children can lead their communities out of poverty, and all children deserve equal rights to a quality education.
The first offline activity will take place in Mumbai on 22 October where 1000 volunteers below the age of 35 will visit schools across Mumbai to collect empirical data on the quality and quantity of resources available–e.g. sanitation facilities, desks, chairs, blackboards and other key infrastructural facilities. The survey will capture quantitative data with the help of a mobile application to map the infrastructure requirements. By collecting key data from underserved schools, the participants will provide a large amount of ‘real-time’ information that will help address these infrastructural deficits in a tangible manner. The data can be utilised to make focused efforts to improve the state of infrastructure within the schools. After identifying the gaps, governments and corporate partners can be mobilised to invest CSR funds towards these improvements, allowing students to learn more efficiently and teachers to instruct more effectively. This offline day is an opportunity for India’s youth to become a voice for those who are most in need, and collect impactful data in the hopes of holding leaders accountable and ensuring school funds are allocated where they are truly needed most.
The municipal body responsible for these participating schools has played an important part in allowing this action to take place by opening up their school campuses to these young volunteers. With their support, next year’s Global Citizens will participate in a similar offline action only this time, they will return to these campuses to assess the progress made on the changes suggested from the year prior.
Malvika Dwivedi, Program Manager of the Green Batti Project said, "This is the perfect opportunity to encourage young individuals to take the lead to improve infrastructure in underserved schools of Mumbai. The outcome of such a large-scale, data collection drive will provide enough evidence to make a tangible difference, and this is exactly how volunteering efforts should be channelized."
Bhavya Bishnoi, spokesperson for Global Citizen India Festival said, “The delivery of quality education begins with the availability of infrastructural resources such as stationery, desks, toilets, and other key facilities. Due to the lack of available resources in underserved communities, several schools function without the bare minimum infrastructure required to provide quality education to the students. One of the biggest challenges facing policymakers, development professionals, non-profit organisations, and corporate donors is the knowledge deficit in terms of the materials required for a well-functioning school. The offline action of volunteering is an ideal platform for Global Citizens to contribute their time and energy in a meaningful way, specifically, towards enhancing the quality of infrastructure in Indian schools.”

The inaugural Global Citizen Festival India will be held in Mumbai on 19 November 2016, and will be headlined by Coldplay, JAY Z, Aamir Khan, Arjun Kapoor, A.R. Rahman, Arijit Singh, Amitabh Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Dia Mirza, Farhan Akhtar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Katrina Kaif, Malaika Arora Khan, Monali Thakur, Parineeti Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Sachin Tendulkar, Sakshi Malik, Shah Rukh Khan, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Shraddha Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Vijender Singh.
Eighty percent of the tickets to the festival will be given out to Global Citizens who earn them by taking action. The juggernaut of fun-filled contests on Web Talkies’ ‘Manoranjan ke 100 Din’ continues with ‘Samadhan Ki Samasya’

Continuing its streak of innovative shows coupled with unique contests, Web Talkies, the latest digital home entertainment brand in the country, is set to launch another competition linked with its popular satirical show, ‘Samadhan Ki Samasya’. Based on a hapless helpline operator who does not have a clue on how to solve the tricky situations faced by the callers, the contest calls for creative answers to the question ‘Why do you hate Samadhan’? The participant with the best answer will be awarded a brand new smartphone. Moreover, 10 2ndprize winners will get a chance to grab amazing goody bags while 50 3rd prize winners will win special gift vouchers.
The show, ‘Samadhan Ki Samasya’ has been well appreciated for the whacky scenarios through which the operator and potential problem-solver, S.D. Nagagoje aka Samadhan, becomes the problem himself.  With subtle political undertones and social commentary combined with oodles of humour, the show has quickly become a favourite with Web Talkies’ viewers.
“Viewers share an interesting love-hate relationship with Nagagoje,” Web Talkies Virendra Shahaney said while speaking of the show and the contest. “Keeping his popularity in mind, we thought it would be great to pose a direct question and gauge the different parameters through which viewers relate with the operator’s character. Everyone has, at some point of time, been in this unenviable situation of handling a job or a situation for wh
ich they are completely ill-equipped. Thus, we wanted to explore the different emotions felt by viewers towards a helpline operator who obviously, needs some help himself.”
The ‘Manoranjan ke 100 Din’ campaign was launched by Web Talkies to celebrate the completion of 100 days of entertaining its viewers with fun-filled and variety original entertainment content. On from the 23rd of September to 21st of October, a series of contests have already been featured in this campaign, garnering massive response from viewers. Here are the five styling tips, from TIMC Fashion:
-          Use shades of pastels and shine of silver when you get married and move away from the usual gold or bright shades to showcase your own taste.
-          If your closet is full of neutral shades, such as, navy, black and gray, then make sure that you add some energy to it by bringing in boldly hued shoes and bags to accentuate your look.
-          Go the scarf way! Stash one in your purse and keep it ready as an accessory that can help you change your look, as and when needed.
-          If you're petite and shapely, it would be advisable to avoid billowy maxis, no matter how much you love them. Go for a dress with a defined waist and just-above-the-knee hem to create the right look.
-          When in doubt, go with the smaller size in jeans as they always tend to stretch, and nothing's more unflattering than the unintentionally baggy denims.
Come and join this fashionable journey with our fashion experts Riya Ray as she takes you through to the fast lane of celebrity fashion with TIMC Fashion.
