Director & Producer Jaideep Chopra, said, "Films are a big part of India & we as one of the biggest industrys' in India, should make all efforts in supporting our armed forces. As a gesture of solidarity with our armed forces we have decided to give a certain percentage of our film's earnings to the families of the shaheeds.
We also plan to do 2-3 screenings for the Mumbai Police & for the Army Jawaans, where we will invite the families of the Shaheeds as well. We want that the people who come to watch the film, dont just come for that but also know that they are coming to support our Armed forces. Not only me but I believe that every producer in India should do this & contribute a certain percentage of the film's profits to our armed forces. Even if it Rs. 1 per ticket for a film, that itself will collect a lot and we are going to make an appeal to IMPAA as well, to make this mandatory for every producer. And this practice of contribution should be for all the combined armed forces."2016 – THE END is a story about four young friends – Sunny, Asse, Rahul and Sheetal. Though they all come from respectable families they are still unhappy with their lives and hope their dreams come true. Accidentally they read a news about the world coming to an end in the next 7 days, which scares them and they decide to at least live their lives to the fullest for the next 7 days. After partying one night, they wake up to find themselves in possession with a stolen Mercedes & 1 Crore rupees.
